3 out of 5 eggsMitgard Case Xigmatek

Pros: Cost, painted interior, bottom mounted ups, controls and ports up front.

Cons: Tooless, not so tooless..HD cage a nightmare to get in and out,if mobo is installed allow plates. From up front have to be removed.

Other Thoughts: Good case for cheap if you are enthusiast however I wouldn't. Recommend this for the first time Pc builder. If you like switching cases a lot this one is build once and leave it.

4 out of 5 eggsreal good case

Pros: -Case is really cool to look at
-surprisingly quite when fan speed on low
- stays cool even when fans are on low
-radiator cage can be used to store parts if you want to take it for a LAN party
- comes with a lot of noise dampers
- side window looks amazing
- cable management is decent

Cons: It's pretty heavy and around the fan controllers it gets pretty warm.
I wish the LED's were a bit brighter and that there were a USB 3.0 on the front pannel. Also, there arent many places to tie your cables down for cable management and the system the comes with the case just looks rediculous.

Other Thoughts: Overall its a really sick case and i highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome little case

Pros: Black interior + window side panel + fan controller for $70??? Insane little case for the price.

Room for water cooling (currently have a 240mm XSPC EX240 rad and an EX120 rad) with a dual bay res. Plenty of room to hide the unsightly cables.

Able to add fans all throughout the front as the drive bay covers come with mesh/fan filters.

Cons: HD cage is a PITA - mine came in stuck to one of the tool-less clips, ended up having to muscle it out of the front drive bays which left the cage slightly bent. It still works but too much work involved to get a HD cage out.

Other Thoughts: My system is an i7 w/GTX 570 with two HD's, dual bay res, two radiators and a pump. Basically I have a lot of hardware in this case and everything looks fantastic.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks like i spent way more on my case then i actually did.
Stays cool with only the stock fans.
window lets me show off all my hard work!

Cons: Fans are noisier than i would like.
Front panel where the fan controls are gets really hot.

Other Thoughts: The only other bad thing that i can think of that isnt really a con in my opinion is that the front headphone jack on my case is busted. the green plastic in there was all busted up so i cant hear with my mic. Ooooh well

1 out of 5 eggsToo high priced for the quality...

Pros: Inside is painted black

The gauge of the steel is not too thin

Has top storage for a large radiator

Bottom mounted PS with lopsided filter

Cable management holes without protective grommets

Cons: No rubber grommets for cable management

Tooless everything needs to be revamped (3.5 is only set for FDD, HDD cage is hokey)

Top most fan wobbles slowly and sometimes won't even start, I have to push it by hand.

3.5 insert has 2 pre-drilled holes that do not fit anything other than an FDD.

HDD cage is held in by 2 hokey screws that don't even secure it in

Front panel makes the whole case look cheap and plain

PS Filter is bent/lopsided badly

No reset button

I'm really unhappy about that 200+mm fan on top that wobbles very slowly and sometimes won't start at all until I push start it with my hand.

Other Thoughts: This case should be priced between 39-49 dollars as 99+ is ridiculous for the defects, lack of features.

The only thing I like about this case is the interior was black and the cable management holes.

I'm really discouraged at the build quality of this case. the topmost defective fan that wobbles and sometimes won't start unless push started. I spent hours putting the system together only to find that the fan was defective.

I will see how xigmatek's Customer service/RMA dept handles this, then I will change the rating if positive or negative experience.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Decent

Pros: Bought this case roughly 11 months ago and it has served me well, I have been using it the entire time and it has kept the computer cool and quiet.

Cons: Case had some factory problems, the front headphone jack reversed the audio's left and right for some reason. Also it scratches easy and they show.

Other Thoughts: Very decent case, works well for my gaming computer.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic Deal

Pros: -Looks Great
-Good Build Quality
-All-Black Interior
-Amazing Case Fans
-2 Fan Controllers
-Great Front Panel

Cons: -Power Light is too bright (But you can always unplug it)
-Above the fan controllers, they get hot from the voltage if you don't have all fans plugged into it(-1 Eggs for that)
-Damaged in shipping(Side panel got bent, didn't fit flush at first)

Other Thoughts: It was a fantastic upgrade from my old e-machines case
It looks great, and cools better than expected, but it could always use an extra centimeter extra in the back for cable management.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: I wanted a cheap case, but I didn't want it to look cheap. This was the perfect option. The 4 USB and 2 SATA inputs on the front are a perfect match for most modern mobo's.

The stock fans work great and run almost completely silent.

Cons: HDD case is a little hard to figure out because the instructions weren't great. You also have to removed the mobo in order to access it which is a pain.

The "No Hardware Required" slot for additional cards sometimes don't hold my video card as snug as i would like, but it also has screw holes.

I have heard that the adjustable fan speed knobs heat up, but I don't need them so it doesn't bother me.

Other Thoughts: 5 Eggs all the way, these cons are nothing to really worry about.

I have read around about people complaining about the top removable slot but I don't understand why. It looks cool when removed and adds extra ventilation.

Great case for the $. If you're looking at a $50 case, spend the extra money. It will be worth it in the long run.
