5 out of 5 eggsEASY

Pros: Tool-less drive bays and expansion slots. Roomy case. Thoughtful construction

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've assembled a few cases in my time, and this was by far the easiest. The case is fairly large, so if you're looking for something to fit a mini or a mid, keep that in mind. My board is full ATX, and I'm very happy. Consult your mobo for the case jumper configuration

5 out of 5 eggsnice budget case

Pros: ventilation, ventilation, ventilation. "tool-less" drive mounts. "filters" for the bottom and front fan mounts. plenty of room for cable management. cutout for heatsink/proc (at least for lga 775) bottom mounted psu with filter.

Cons: expansion bay lock is pretty much useless

Other Thoughts: i love this case. running a decent overclock and simply changing to this case dropped my temps almost 5*C. pretty much tool free assembly unless you count the little thumb tool for the motherboard offsets. if you're running a large aftermarket cpu heatsink, good luck getting fans in the top. mine is offset enuf that i can get 1 in there but not 2 without having to use a slim fan. the exhaust vent on the rear will accept a 140mm fan which was a surprise because i thot they were all 120mm fan mounts. no issues with any wiring being mislabled as some users have reported. couldn't use the "thumb lock" for the expansion bays as it would not clear my 6870. overall, i am very pleased with my purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsQC

Pros: Looks good.

Cons: Xigmatek's QC, No Fans

Other Thoughts: I say Xigmatek's QC workmanship as one of the HDD side mounts was not rivet in place. Yes the rivet was there but missed the HDD side mount all together. So nothing was holding it to the bottom of case. One egg off for that Xigmatek. Was easy fix for me. But for someone not good with skills could be a problem for them.
I fell it is a good case for the price but it could come with some FANS and make it that much better.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Budget Gaming Case Ever

Pros: This is the best mid atx case ever for twenty five bucks that I paid. My system is mainly a performance/gaming machine, and this case fit everything quite well. It is actually quite sturdy, not too flimsy, and has decent build quality. Airflow is more than efficient. Sincerely, impressive Xigmatek.

-Quite spacious
-Quite airy
-Quite efficient filters
-USB 3.0 x 2
-Plenty of fan options

Cons: Could have came with at LEAST ONE fan.

But I buy quiet performance/blue led fans anyway.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is the best. EVER.

Because I went with the free shipping that requires 4 to 7 days...
and I had delivery after TWO DAYS!!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for $25

Pros: Holes everywhere.
Well built.
Inexpensive when on sales w/ no rebate.
Great cable management.
USB and power/reset button facing on top---great if you have the desktop tower on the ground.
Wished I bought 2x instead of just 1.
PSU bottom-mounted.

Cons: No 120mm fan ($5 more).

2 out of 5 eggsAdditional thoughts

Pros: Previously listed

Cons: Additional concerns wit this case. The circuit board for the audio was etched as a negative. Therefore the microphone and headphone jacks are reversed so the label on the front panel is incorrect. The front panel USB jacks are intermittent. As mentioned by a previous review the bottom of the case was bent upwards where the power supply mounts. This damage was not caused by shipping.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this case. My previous rating of 4 Eggs has been downgraded to 2 Eggs.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice case

Pros: Excellent Case! Sleek design, 120mm or 140mm fan mounting on side and top (love that cuz I got some 140's dirt cheap awhile ago and been waiting to use them), labeled mounting holes for different MB's (stamped into the metal even!), Screwless drive mounting, EIGHT internal 3.5 drives. Dual filtered fan mounting vents in the bottom (who does that with a case at this price!?) for additional ventilation. Great cable management and plenty of room for routing. USB 3 front, but wired so you can use them as 2.0 or 3.0 ports if your MB doesn't have the 3.0 header, without having to buy an adapter (GREAT thinking Ximatek!). And overall solidly built, doesn't feel or look cheap in any way.

This may be the best, most versatile case you can get at this price point. Good job Xig!

Cons: None at all. Are you kidding? On sale for 30 bucks shipped, cannot beat it.

Other Thoughts: Might not be on sale right now, but this case is definitely still worth the full price, buy it!

4 out of 5 eggsAsgard 381

Pros: The case is well laid out. Disk mounting is very easy. The ability to easily route cables and hide them is very good. Expansion card hold down works very well. One thing I always like in a case is when the optical drives fit without having a gap around the perimeter but not to the point were they bind.

Cons: The metal is soft and bends easily. Screw holes to mount mainboard were not all tapped plumb. Quality control leaves a bit to be desired.

Other Thoughts: Although the cons give me a bit of concern I have rated this product 4 stars.
