3 out of 5 eggsworks for what I needed

Pros: Does what it says and will control 4 fans
blue leds
matched my black case nicely

Cons: It's a 3.5" drive, but its just slightly bigger than that, enough you have to really squeeze this thing into a 3.5 bay. By doing so, it made it really hard to turn knobs 1 and 4, while 2 and 3 remain unobstructed.

Knobs really are just an illusion here, really there are only 4 settings i can get out of this thing.
1. All the way turned down seems to run about 20%
2.a little over Half way is when you notice your next move to about 40-50%
3. 75% turned up seems to be about accurate
4. all the way turned up, 100%

moving anything in between these values does nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this unit unless you are really needing to hook up more fans and dont have enough molex or something.

It's extremely low wattage, and watt per channel, dont even think about hooking 2 fans up to one channel, you wont be able to push decent fans on just 1 channel.

most cases do not have a 3.5" drive bay these days (old floppy bays) so you will have to buy a 3.5" to 5.5" adapter and like I said, it doesn't want to fit into a 3.5" bay properly anyways, and by this price point you can get a much better fan controller.

A little upset that I can't actually turn fans off with this controller as you can with others, I have a lot of fans inside my case because I have aging components and overclock them as much as I can to get the best performance, but when I'm not gaming, I really don't need all 9 fans running constantly

2 out of 5 eggsPoorly Wired

Pros: Inexpensive, decent look, should've done what I wanted it to do (If it hadn't been shoddily wired).

Cons: The wiring out to the fans is light, as you would expect. The problem comes in at the power supply to unit molex plug. The wiring is Extremely fine gauge, and either Kingwin didn't properly crimp the wire into the positive pin connector, or the gauge is so light, the dang wire broke before it ever got to me. (hard to tell, because the wire is just So Tiny!)

Other Thoughts: Inexpensive item, so if it hadn't been poorly wired, it probably would have been a good value. Really though, would it have cost Kingwin more than a few cents to make the power wire 18/20 gauge instead of somethign along the line of 24 ga.? Extremely disappointed, as this was the last item I needed installed for this build. Maybe I'll just solder it in place rather than wait for an RMA.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh It Works

Pros: The pros are, it works fine, i have not yet had a problem with it, the fans run well and so does my water cooling pump.

Cons: Well its plastic, it sort of comes with the price range but yeah it sucks that it is plastic. It also has no mounting holes on the actual device so you have to just slide it in and hope it stays, unless i am missing some screws or some mounting hardware. Oh and the instructions suck the show it as fitting into a 5.5 inch bay even though it is a 3.5 inch device. It has really short cables and it forces you to power it with a molex connector.

Other Thoughts: I might buy a better one to replace it and return this one because of its poor build quality and I hate the short cables and that it forces you to use molex connectors.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed

Pros: Does exactly what it was intended to do. My computer is much more quiet now that the fans aren't running at 100%. They will probably last longer now also. I think having my fans running at max was causing some turbulence in my case and my CPU is running about 5 degrees cooler now. Fit well in the 3.5" bay in my Rosewill Challenger case.

Cons: Wish there was a way to disable the blue LEDs. I will probably open it up and take out the LEDs later. Just my preference.

Other Thoughts: Very reasonable price and extremely functional. Should have purchased this with my case years ago.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, but could be better.

Pros: Its a fan controller
Cheap, no frills option some of us want
Blue LEDs go along perfectly with my theme

Cons: Feels cheap, not surprising.
Fan control knobs get very hot at times, but it might just be my fan choices.

Other Thoughts: Works great, love it!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is a good fan controller, cables are long and it fits perfectly into a 3.5 slot which was were I needed it. The Blue is very bright would go well with blue led case,

Cons: The blue is very bright, not really a con just for some it could be over powering, also I have noticed it doesn't seem to do much action power wise until your towards the end of the knob, again not really a con, it works as directed

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan controller

Pros: Good fan controller for a great price. Controls a 200mm led and 3 120mm led fans with adjustable brightness and speed. Fit great in my haf 922 with the included 5.25 bracket.

Cons: Had to use 5.25 bracket to install in case. Could have easily made a larger case to fit 5.25 slot. Only downfall.

Other Thoughts: Has good accuracy for fan speed and has been a great addition to my constantly changing haf 922 build.

4 out of 5 eggssuits my needs really well

Pros: -Doesnt say how much power supplied per channel, but i suspect its a decent amount because i have a 140 LED and 120 LED (my front intakes) on a splitter on channel 1 with no problems at all.

-long cables.

-PWM support

-Simple design, fits my case and theme perfectly

-the knobs are a nice material, but they feel a bit flimsy, if your even the slightest bit gentle its no problem.

-Non PWM fans work like this: having the knob turned ti the lowest setting, for the first half turn of the knob nothing happens, then at 60% it turns up, and about 80% a bit more than full at 100%. PWM fans are a bit more accurate.

Cons: 3.5" Bay, if you dont have a special face plate that comes with your case, be warned you will have a hard time installing it. I have a fractal design core 3000 which fortunately does have the special faceplate, and even then i had trouble housing it and finding something to place under it (on top of the DVD drive), keeping it in place is not easy either. It will slide in and out unless you fasten it down somehow (i used adhesive putty from 3M).

-its light and feels fragile.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad at all

Pros: -Works great
-Blue LEDs fits with my CM 690 with blue fans
-4 channels

Cons: -Hard to mount : had to use KINGWIN 5.25 to 3.5 adapter and took almost an hour to understand how's it works.
-I don't know how to explain that, but there's a gap at the start of the button, so when you turn them, the fan won't change speed until almost at the end of the button.

Other Thoughts: Tips : put 3pins to 2x3pins connector so you can put more than 4 fans. For my CM 690, channel 1 is for front 120mm blue LEDs fan (intake), channel 2 is for 2x120mm side blue LEDs fans (intakes), channel 3 is for rear 120mm blue LEDs fan (exhaust) and channel 4 is for 2x120mm blue LEDs on top (exhaust). 6 fans on 4 channels controller. Pretty good !
