5 out of 5 eggsWorks PERFECT

Pros: Works great for the price, especially in Linux like the product advertises.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Getting a product that works as advertised is always a bonus. I bought this particular adapter because it was advertised to work with Linux. And honestly it works perfectly with Linux. I use Fedora 10 and I have a PS/2 keyboard and mouse and they both work perfect on the Dell Inspiron 530. The keyboard even works in the BIOS. A+++.

3 out of 5 eggsNot the best.

Pros: Mostly works.

Cons: I'm a touch typist, and pretty fast. This seems to get confused when i'm typing quickly (perhaps when i have three keys pressed at the same time, which can happen if you're fast). It's really not suitable for daily use (for me).

Also a bit bulky.

Other Thoughts: Buy the one from Sabrent instead, the SBT-PS2U. Newegg sells it as well. it works great for me (no problems).

i thought i'd already posted a review, but i don't see it some i'm posting again. i bought this over 2 years ago.

3 out of 5 eggsProduct works great, why the overkill on packing material

Pros: Product works as expected. No technical issues.

Cons: Product was packed in a large box with an enormous amount of styrofoam peanuts. Even with all the packing material, the actual package was still bent. Product was not damaged. This is an exorbitant amount of packing material which didn't even protect the product package and will affect my decision to buy from Newegg in the future.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I does somewhat works.

Cons: Microsoft IntelliPoint Optical mouse with this adapter only 3 out of 5 buttons work (it doesn't see side buttons)
On heavy system load (games) some keyboard keys don't respond properly.

Other Thoughts: My motherboard has problem with it's PS/2 ports, so I have to use this type of converter. So far this is third converted (not this model) I bought and so far this is NOT the best out of the three.
I'm not saying this adapter is bad, it very possible my motherboard that doesn't let it work properly, however, the fact it doesn't detect all 5 buttons on my mouse is a huge con.

2 out of 5 eggsStopped Working in a Week

Pros: It worked fine with my Linux laptop for a week.

Cons: It stopped working after a week! It's too much trouble to RMA for the price, but now I have to find another one...

4 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: This product worked fine when connected to my laptop. I didn't experience any lag like some users.

Cons: It isn't terribly attractive, but, eh, who cares?
