5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Worked perfectly for an old 7 yr old laser print I had. All I had to do was connect it and Windows 7 x64 automatically recognized it and installed its own drivers directly from the web. I was ready to go in <5 min.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well in Windows 7 x64

Pros: Works as expected and without any issues in Windows 7 x64 and an old HP LaserJet 5M printer.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Hint: First connect this adapter alone to your PC's USB port without connecting to your printer. Wait till your PC recognizes it and finishes installing the drivers, this is done automatically with you doing anything.
Then connect it to your printer and its drivers get to be installed automatically as well. My HP 5M printer got running in a very short time.
Highly recommended and easy to use if done as I described.

1 out of 5 eggsNow shipping solid black junk cables

Pros: None with the solid black cable received instead of clear cable pictured.

Cons: Have used clear cable pictured with great success, but same item# cable and replacement cable sent were solid black. 1st one was intermitent from start. 2nd one only worked for 4 days without becoming problematic.

Have tested both cables on multiple working platforms.

Theese cables are currently JUNK and full of headaches.

1 out of 5 eggsProblematic

Pros: None

Cons: Have received two cables, both have been solid black and cheaper made than clear style pictured. Have had good luck with the clear one in the past, but the solid black cables are junk.

First worked intermitately for 4-5 days. 2nd worked for 4 days and has now started working intermitately.

5 out of 5 eggsit works fine as it's supposed to.

Pros: worked just fine when i needed to use a school printer on campus.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: the "hardest part" was making sure i had first downloaded the correct drivers to operate the printer i was hooking up to. but was able to hook up to and print from a networked printer with little issue at all.

5 out of 5 eggsWow It worked!

Pros: It worked right out of the box. Do not forget to first plug in the product. Then after its configured by windows then plug in your printer...I used hp 4200 laserjet

Cons: You might have to mess with ports like using virtual usb port. I believe however it does this automatically

Other Thoughts: Very fast
