5 out of 5 eggsGood General Purpose MB

Pros: Express Slots, PCI Slots, decent onboard vid, audio, mem capacity. Good compatibility with processors. Stable platform in my uses.

Cons: Relatively slow bus compared to newer mobos

Other Thoughts: Surprising Intel has not orphaned this unit, been around for a while now.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Stable

Pros: This Motherboard is extremely stable. The onboard video is only good if your using it as a business computer. I'm running a Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz and I put a XFX GeForce 9800 GT in and it's working great on all the latest games. My son plays Modern Warfare 2 all the time on this system and it's totally stable.

Cons: This motherboard has very few options in the Bio's so if your planning on over clocking you will be disappointed.

Other Thoughts: I have built 2 computers using this DG31PR, both computers have been up and running for over a year with no problems what so ever. For the price I think this motherboard is a good buy.

I'm always looking for the best bang for the buck.

My kids use the computer for gaming all the time, and the total cost of this computer was around $500, which IMO is about the best Bang-for-the-buck right now. I could upgrade to a Quad Core, but I don't see any reason to at this time, since most games on the market are just barely to the point where they can use Duo Cores.

5 out of 5 eggsJust works

Pros: These thing just run great! I have built 10 systems with these and they just run really well. I am not trying to OC or anything like that I just want a stable system.

Cons: Drivers on the cd are worthless. Well I should say it's the cd itself, 8 out of the 10 motherboards I have ordered don't work. Download them from the website and save the trouble.

Other Thoughts: Corsiar 400w power supply runs very nicely with this.

2 out of 5 eggs2 dead a little over 1 year

Pros: Easy to setup
Very stable while operating

Cons: Amost no bios options
Expensive for what it is
Ultimately unreliable for me
Onboard video is terrible

Other Thoughts: First unit - PCIxpress died. Luckily it didn't kill the video card.
Second unit - 2 caps blew out.

I can't recommend this board at all. In 10+ years, building hundreds of computers, I really disliked everything about this board. I'm glad I stopped using them after 2 builds b/c otherwise I would be out of business with the 100% fail rate I had in less than 2 years.

3 out of 5 eggsHigh price for avg performance

Pros: Stable, Easy to Flash through Intel Windows based utility, simple BIOS, great for the non-tinker or for corporate use
mobo led light, built in mobo speaker, very nice packaging, poster size instructions

Cons: motherboard temp sensor is possibly faulty, shoots to 70 C after 10 minutes even in very cold room while CPU temps are in 30's.
No overclock ability at all
Wish there was something like an Asus CPU fan control or speed option
No solid caps

Other Thoughts: Do not buy if you overclock

4 out of 5 eggsSolid board

Pros: wonderful board. Replaced a clients blown board with this one, worked perfectly with no problems aside from having to call to reactivate XP because the NIC drivers were not installed( but that's not the boards fault). Sweet wiring diagram stickers to go on the inside of the chassis.

Cons: Only 2 Memory slots, client had to drop 1g of memory.

Other Thoughts: Don't let the low amount of memory slots deter you from this board unless you definetly need more.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Hard to say, since it runs my system EXTREMELY WELL.
Supports 800MHz DDR2 memory. Good budget board for games.
Latest BIOS fully supports Windows 7

Cons: You need a 32-Bit OS to update the bios, but that's not the board's fault.

Other Thoughts: Bought this board at my local computer store. This board is absolutely great. I may become a bit more of a critic as I try different hardware.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid board for a solid price

Pros: -Small board (micro ATX)
-Plenty of cpu types supported
-Quality from Intel
-Painless plugins

Cons: -BIOS only allows you semi control of case fans that have a controller.
-

Other Thoughts: -Took a while to ship even with express shipping. Think it came from a third party reseller. Also, BIOS drivers on disk are out of date.
