nice mobo

Pros: Good mobo, came with lots of extras including games and tools.

Cons: Drivers for onboard audio are glitchy. First, they caused the computer to hang when trying to shut down, now after reinstalling the drivers it causes an error at startup...

Stable but not Idiotproof

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Out of the box it is pretty ideal for an in the box build. The install and maintenance of the board, as well as the BIOS were almost smooth. A good baseline for Intel's 1366 boards. Intel's support has been good. Overall the build of the hardware is strong.

Cons: Setup Issues: The USB and 1394 connectors on the board are difficult to distinguish. The RAID mode have proven too difficult for me to implement. Adjustments in BIOS seem to cause more problems than they resolve.

The SATA connectors on board are scary to use as it feels like im going to rip my board off whenever i unplug one.

Other Thoughts: Building a rig?: This probably isn't the one at this price. If you can build a machine, you'll want more RAM than this can provide. I have a mid tower (NZXT Tempest) and this ATX form really didnt make as good a use of space as i would have liked. I would have liked to add another video card ("supports Crossfire") but the space on the board makes it practically impossible (unless you like zero airflow).

Pros: Always boots, Easy to configure.
Has everything you need to create a high end workstation
Quality components.

Cons: SLI and CrossFire is a Joke
Not just on this board but any dual slot board
just not enough room between slots and other
cards or vga cards are cramped and cooling becomes
and issue.

Other Thoughts: I am not a dedicated gamer.
I only tried sli and crossfire.
and I don't overclock my equipment so this board was perfect.
