Pros: Very nice looking mobo right out of the box. Great layout with fan & USB Headers (especially with HTPC case) Optical S/PDIF In/Out was a plus too.
Cons: I was very dissapointed with OS install. Like others in previous reviews, I couldn't get Vista-64bit to install without either the BSOD or some sort of missing dll. error. Finally after turning off RAID and reboot a few more times, it took. Very unstable at first, until I updated the BIOS. Now, everything is working great. Hopefully this will help some that are having these problems too.
Other Thoughts: Intel being such a large Corp. should be able to get 13M of Desktop Manager on the Driver disc. But, instead installs a link to download on there website. Hmm...didn't understand that one. Other than that it's working like a charm now.

Pros: Raid, Lots of USB
Cons: Bluetooth has been intermittent. Finally, a few weeks ago, stopped showing up in device manager. USB bus became somewhat unpredictable. Also, Windows 7 now bluescreens on a regular basis.
After many calls to Intel, refused to replace board-insist it must be tested by me out of the chassis.
For $200, I would not buy this board. I am actually re-thinking a long loyalty to intel boards based on how problematic the support has been from Intel.

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Good quality board, good BIOS menu, no legacy connectors, nice set up. Easy to flash BIOS with a USB key
Cons: can't get any OS to install because the memory I have (OCZ Platinum 2x2gb 7-7-7-20 @1.9V) is not compatible with the new low voltage requirements. Also there is no manual with the board, had to go to Intel website to download it, no biggy but annoying
Other Thoughts: Hopefully I can rate this board higher once I get my compatible memory in, should have read up on the P55 board a little more, didn't know that they dropped the memory voltage requirements to 1.6v
