2 out of 5 eggsSweeping us under the rug

Pros: "Intel" reliability

Cons: First we wasn't allowed 125W CPUs in ITX systems and had to stick with 95W and now we have really good 95W CPUs we aren't allowed to have them either.

Other Thoughts: I waited for a long time to see if a ITX would support 125W AMD X6 and now that we have 95W CPUs that bench higher we aren't allowed to have them either. Although a 95W CPU will work in this board, it may void your warranty. Absurd since the last gen had no problems with 95W CPUs.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Board, Beware Compatibility

Pros: Didn't buy from newegg but have been running for about 2 weeks in a mini computer I build for a light gaming.

Runs great with i5-2400S and a GTS 450

Cons: Beware Compatibility issues.
I noticed one other review was having issues when paired with the 2500.

Intel's specs lists this as only being compatible with the i5-2400s quad-core . I'm assuming because its the only 65W sandybridge out. Might not work correctly if paired with the 95W processors

5 out of 5 eggsGood ITX board

Pros: Excellent MB for small form factor systems. I've been using this board for a few weeks with an i5-2500, Silverstone Sugo case, and Windows XP Pro SP3. Very stable, low temps, no problems whatsoever. I paired with a MSI HD 5770 and my little gaming box is perfect for LANs or HTPC use.

Cons: No PS2 port for legacy keyboard/mouse. Not too big of a deal, but I've also used this box in my MAME arcade and not having the serial port means no trackball.

Other Thoughts: Intel boards have always been very stable and reliable for me as long as I don't use their desktop utilities.

1 out of 5 eggsNot working too well

Pros: Let you know if I find one. Oh wait, it idles quietly.

Cons: On hour five of trying to get XBMC to play anything back smoothly. Windows 7 64 bit, 3.3ghz k series i5 sandy bridge, OCZ SSD, 4gb ripjaw and a OrigenAE case. Downloaded current drivers from intel, ran their utility for detecting hardware / driver. If you are like me and have a 4tb collection of 24 frame per second video avoid this product. As it turns out intel cant seem to get 24fps video right. 3 years using XBMC, have tried all settings and to no avail. Screen goes black often for up to 15 seconds while switching in and out of video on XBMC, sometimes I loose keyboard. Low cpu utilization however fans are in hovercraft mode. Tried to overclock GPU, saw no difference. All 24fps movies pixelate to no end. Unwatchable. MKV, M2TS, XVID, it does not matter. Junk!

Other Thoughts: My netbook plays better video than this. Even an android phone does a better job with 24fps video.
