5 out of 5 eggsGreat Motherboard

Pros: I bought this Mobo back in June while it was on sale for my very first build, and to this day it still works great. It has what, eight USB ports? With two of them being USB 3.0. I couldn't be happier with it. It works every time I want it to.

Cons: None, other than wishing I could have received it free!

Other Thoughts: I don't have the highest end gaming computer, but to me it runs perfect. I play my games maxed out (mostly battlefield 3) and it runs great. I even record gameplay. Main Specs:
This Motherboard
CPU: I3-2120
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333 G.Skills Ripjaw
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB

2 out of 5 eggsI was let down

Pros: The features are good. Supports plenty of Ram and pci cards.

Cons: The board's APU wouldn't ever work and I bought it to use the APU! I even bought another processor to try and fix it but it didn't so it had to be the board. Also it has never booted up smoothly. When you power it starts to come on, fans start to spin then it dies down again only to finally finish booting.

Other Thoughts: Good thing it had a 3 year warranty. I'm trying to send it in today but have to wait for their office to open.

1 out of 5 eggs3 Failures. Amazing!

Pros: It works when it works

Cons: Had to replace 3 times already! The first two would not boot and now the third one has a bad SATA port! Looks like I'll be buying another brand from now on!

2 out of 5 eggsSecond Board Failed

Pros: The drivers and software are rock solid. Board is solid when it's working. Intel replaced the board without a hassle.

Cons: Had one failed board that I sent back. Now the second one is having the same issues. Not overly impressed with that.

1 out of 5 eggsOne Of The Worse Mobos Ive Ever Owned

Pros: supports 2nd generation processors , after a bios update it also supports 3rd generation processors other than these two pro's nothing else , i think you should stay away from this and buy a better brand from asus , gigabyte or even asrock or foxconn is better .

Cons: bad design , cheap board , bad quality caps , worst bios releases and many more , intel one time released bios full of bugs and slow downs for this mobo and then again they released warnings saying not to update to that bios file and gave a bios downgrade file , this mobo got no support from the intel web site , the mobo got some bad mismatch behaviors from some oem power supplies , i gotta say after spending around 8 months with this nightmare i decided to sell it and my i5 2400 and move on to 3rd generation k series cpu and mobo and it feels good however i never looked at another intel motherboard again . seems like this mobo got no voltage protection or static electricity protection either , the usb 3.0 ports starts giving problems of going under unknown devices sometimes and reinstalling drivers will fix it . cha fan connectors sometimes wont work - updating bios again will fix this . wont increase the rpm of the stock fan when heat goes up - fix it manually to 100 %

Other Thoughts: once i brought this and my 2400 i5 cpu i connected everything with 2 g skill rip jaws rams (8 gb) and connected my inwin commander 750w power supply to it which i used for 3 years , and i connected my evga gtx 460 switched it on , and after a week the board started to give overheating alarms , i took it to my dealer and there were white burned out lines all over around cpu socket and pci slots in the back . claimed warrenty and 2nd mobo it gave same trouble , got a 3rd mobo changed psu to a x650 and everything was back to normal (i checked the psu with other pc's never had any problems) , that was how i lived the first 4 months again after around 4 months the new psu started giving problems again (it wont startup and after plugging and re plugging it starts) , i was pretty sure it was the mobo causing this , it was like the mobo is keeping some static electricity and gives trouble to power supplies in long run , claimed psu warranty moved to i5 3rd , sold this out with processor !

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT for price

Pros: It is great for the price and even worth quite a bit more. Even though it is fairly basic (not many cool hardware features) it works well. The bios does have plenty of options such as for fan control.

Cons: -not too many cool hardware features
-1 cooling fan plug short for me

Other Thoughts: I used this in my brother's computer and it is GREAT for the price. Also, it is better than ASRock.

1 out of 5 eggsIntel H67 HDMI SATA Motherboard

Pros: Fast USB 3.0 and eSata ports

Cons: As shipped, the BIOS did not recognize the audio device on the motherboard. I had to update the BIOS to be able to use the on-board audio device

Other Thoughts: Technical support told me to apply a Microsoft patch for Win XP Pro x64 to my Win 7 Utimate x64.

3 out of 5 eggsSecond board is ok. First had issues.

Pros: Second board after RMA runs ok. No apparent issues. Intel brand board which I like. Nice looking board. Has PCI slots.

Cons: First board was buggy, randomly would not post.

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA the first board. It would randomly not boot up. Would not get to post, just the fans would turn on. This was tested with known good components. It seemed flaky. Once booted it seemed ok. However this is not acceptable. Did an RMA, and got another board. Installed and all is good. No issues currently. Booted on the first try and tried many times to replicate the issue with the second board. Seems to post every time, could not make the issue reappear. Newegg's RMA process was great. Only 3 eggs due to the inconvenience. Chose Intel because I thought I wouldn't have any issues. Prefer Intel and ASUS components.

4 out of 5 eggsIntel DH67CL

Pros: Easy to install. Documentation (on CD) is pretty good. BIOS update is easy. Runs on Ubuntu 12.04 out of the box. Not too expensive, comes with SATA 6 and USB 3. Has flexibility to run a good selection of i3, i5, and i7 processors.

Cons: Every once in a while, my keyboard doesn't respond (Microsoft ergo 4000) when I start into Windows, clears up when I restart. I usually run in Ubuntu 12.04 and never have that problem, so there may be a windows driver quirk; I never installed the keyboard software, so it may not finish loading the driver while it searches for the rest of the keyboard software; I only run windows every once in a while to play a game, so it doesn't bother me much.

The board is a bit cramped, so after-market coolers might have trouble fitting; the circle around the processor slot shows the dimensions of the stock cooler on my i3 2120, so that might help in comparison of coolers. Have to make sure your RAM is installed before your video card because the white RAM latches have to be closed for big cards.

Limited to DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333, so not as much flexibility as with the processors, but that's too bad and not unreasonable for a sub $100 board.

Other Thoughts: I picked up this board because it had 4 stars, had a review saying it supported Ubuntu, had extra slots, and didn't have any common show-stopper problems.

Note: The default is for all the SATA ports to be hot-pluggable. If you don't want to be able to "Safely Remove" your C: drive in windows, be sure to turn that off on your primary drive before installing windows or you'll get a blue-screen.

I configured it with an i3 2120, ASUS AMD 6670 (EAH6670/DIS/1GD5), 2x2GB Samsung DDR3-1333 (salvaged from HP p6523w), and 640 GB WD Caviar Blue (16 MB cache, from same p6523w).

This looks identical to DH67BL, except with a few extra PCI slots to fill out the extra length of an ATX board. The firmware for the two even looks similar.

Be sure to read the directions about which RAM slots on the board to use.

I don't have any SATA 6.0 or USB 3 devices, so I haven't tested those features much yet.
