1 out of 5 eggsBIOS DOES NOT WORK

Pros: cheap

Cons: It works fine for the first few times. But then the BIOS became very unstable. Now it's not even booting. I didn't update the BIOS (it comes with the latest one) or change any hardware.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat so far

Pros: I bought this board as an upgrade to my stock mobo in my HP comp. It took my P4 3.0ghz really well... as well as all my other hardware. Didn't have enough expansion slots to put my enthernet nic card in, but since this board's built-in nic works, didn't need it.

Cons: No overclocking capabilites. But I guess for the cost, and since it is just a replacement, I didn't really expect it to. Had to upgrade from my really expensive PC 3200 ram =)...but that's not a con.

Other Thoughts: Great board for replacing. Not so cool if you wanna make everything run really fast.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: This motherboard is great if you want to upgrade your current system. The 4 RAM slots are GREAT! The PCI-E x16 slot is great whereas my old Mobo didn't have it! The physical installation of the motherboard wasn't too hard, but 2 of the screw holes didn't line up with my HP Tower case, but it wasn't a big deal. The Gigabit LAN port is a real plus. The Mobo can accept all Pentium 4 775 processors and Core 2 Duo 775 processors, but only up to 1066 MHz FSB. It can take a variety of Ram speeds, which makes it nice if you want to use older ram for a while.

Cons: It doesn't have firewire ports, so I had to buy a PCI firewire port card so I could connect my firewire hard drive to it. the IDE connector is between the 24-pin power connector and the ram slots, making it difficult to organize the cables a bit. A rather stupid place to put the connects. Also, like another reviewer has said, the PCI-E x16 Slot connector is right up against the left RAM slot connector, preventing you to replace ram in those slots if you don't take out your PCI-E x16 card. Also, the position of the PCI and the PCI-E x1 slots are not set up in a practical way. I have to make room for my PCI-E x16 Card, which means I can only use 1 PCI slot. However, this is not a huge problem for me. I only have 1 PCI card to use! Another thing, the position of the Front audio cable connector is right by the processor, making a bit difficult to connect unless you do it before installing the processor. The front audio cable connector will only connect a microphone and output audio.

Other Thoughts: Despite the CONS, its still a nice motherboard for those upgrading from older machines. When I tried to install this motherboard into my HP A1020N XP Home machine, it wouldn't boot up! I tried to do a normal repair but I messed that up somehow and couldn't repair my system! forcing me to REINSTALL my OS onto my computer! ***Back-up all your files before installing a new motherboard!*** Luckily, I had a copy of XP Home when I reinstalled the OS (I used the number on the sticked on the side of the case). After everything, I still like this new Motherboard because of the PROS I listed. Enjoy!

Pros: its Giga-byte. I've owned about 10 G-B mobo's and never had a problem that wasnt cause by my own stupidity

Cons: The board was just dead. First time i turned the board on the fans would spin but no post nothing. After a couple of tries i the board just quit working altogether. Sending in for RMA now, going to try another one of these

Other Thoughts: Giga-byte makes great stuff, always very stable, first board i've had a problem with

4 out of 5 eggsit's good

Pros: stable, fit right in the Micro atx, easy to setup.
Newegg service is as always the BEST!!!!

Cons: limited 4GB, since the motherboard max out 4GB. it only reads 3.4GB max (hardware setting) and 32bit windows reads 3.25GB which is hardware/software limitation but I just wanted to complain lol.
Can't configure anything maunally in BIOS.

Other Thoughts: pretty good, I had to buy this mobo for the old CPU upgrade, it run like a champ !!!!

2 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: newegg has great customer service.
ran osx86 very well.

Cons: cmos had big time issues.
wouldn't post unless cmos was cleared (erasing all my settings)
only was able to get it to boot twice, once to install osx86. once was up and running ran great, but definitely a defective mobo. I tried switching out the battery, no luck, so its rma for that card.

Other Thoughts: im having newegg send a replacement, rather than a refund, because I liked it once it was running. I hope it was just one bad motherboard rather than a wider problem.
