1 out of 5 eggsno display, no mouse

Pros: not sure, guess the hdmi and dvi are a good thing

Cons: not sure except i can't get it to work which seems to be a con

Other Thoughts: new build can't get video or mouse to work to load the os but fans and others seem to be ok. I'll keep at it for a few more days before i return.

4 out of 5 eggsGood product

Pros: Ease of use setup.
FX compatability.
Reliable.

Cons: Not really a con..
Overclocking is subpar on this main board. Four pin power connector seems "last generation"

Other Thoughts: We used this in my daughters gaming/school computer. This mainboard seems to be able to support everything that was installed. Over all it runs everything thrown at it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: This has been a great board so far. It supported the FX 4100 out of the box with no issues so far. The Northbridge has been fluctuating between 48C and 49C at idle.

Cons: If you run a bulky graphics card you will find that the SATA ports are a little hard to get to, but if you hook up your SATA equipment before your graphics card it works out well. When I installed the board and booted windows I used the driver disk That came with the board to install my Ethernet and sound controllers and got a blue screen when I restarted the computer. The problem was a simple fix, uninstall the audio driver if you get a blue screen and do not install the audio driver from the disk. Also you will find that one of the mounting screws are located right under the northern RAM tabs. It was a bit of a pain to get to, but it all worked out well.

Other Thoughts: All in all the board installed very well to my case and everything booted up pretty smooth. If you get a blue screen on the first boot into Windows Format the HDD and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows and everything will work out fine. I don't understand why this board has taken so much flak from the buyers, (I guess I must have gotten the perfect board.) but this is an excellent board to buy if you are on a budget and need a quick board for your FX series Processor.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great For Me

Pros: Maybe I'm not expecting 200 dollar performance and features from a 90 dollar mobo. Maybe I actually know what I'm doing or maybe I'm just extremely lucky but this board is great! Put everything in, fired it up and Win 7 installed. Had a Phenom II 965 laying around and 8 Gigs of ram and an empty case so I thought, what the heck!

Cons: Not one, the board is perfect and it came with everything in the boards description. I read the full feature description on Newegg and then I go to the manufactureres web site and check the QVL and read everything they have to say about a board and guess what? No problems, EVER!

Other Thoughts: AMD Phenom 965. 8GB Patriot DDR3 1600 ram. Seagate 1TB 7200 32MB HD, Sapphire HD 5670 vid card and Rosewill Hive 550W PSU. Great little machine! I even OC'd it a little 3.4 to 3.8 and it runs smooth and cool!

1 out of 5 eggsI am not sure what's the issue

Pros: It is a great design and love the HDMI, DVI combo.

Cons: I got the board setup and everything setup right, however i couldn't get a video on my LCD screen so i thought the onboard video was bad on the board, so i used a spare video card but that didn't work either. I tried VGA connection and still no feed. Everything on the board was running, CPU, DVD, HDD and the Powersupply works fine. After reading on here a few issues, i see some of the people on here are having video issue. I think i may have gotten the wrong revision. My CPU is 1 x AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4100WMGUSBX. My power supply is: 1 x CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 V2 (CMPSU-430CXV2) 430W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply. I thought the 24-pin was the issue, so i took the extra 12v and connected it to the cpu and got the BIOS to come up, however when i go to load windows it freeze and after that it won't boot to the BIOS again. I tried turning it off plenty of time to get it to the BIOS and nothing

Other Thoughts: I don't even get the POST test from the board after removing the memory sticks, i tried other test and nothing. I found this to be weird. I have built many PC before and this is just a weird situation i have never faced. Maybe the Bios is corrupted?

5 out of 5 eggsBest Budget Board!

Pros: - Micro ATX
- On-Board Radeon 4000 series

Cons: - Max Memory is only 8 GB
- Only 2 X Ram slots

Other Thoughts: This is, by far, my favorite budget board out there. You get on-board sound like usual, but this on-board ATI 4000 series card is good enough to play games on. It's not as great as a dedicated card, but this means you only need to get the Mobo / Processor and ram coupled with a case and you're good to go!

I really like the bios options and would spend the money to buy another one especially for family since they prefer a budget build. This beats out anything pre-built which usually has an Intel HD Graphics (not as good IMO) on-board video option.

1 out of 5 eggsReceived wrong motherboard

Pros: The motherboard looked nice and it fit well in my case. RMA process went fine, just unhappy.

Cons: I ordered this product and received the GIGABYTE GA-880GM-D2H (REV 1.4) even though my order form had REV 3.1 listed on it. Even the packing slip said 3.1. The only way I noticed that it was the wrong motherboard was that after installation my computer would not turn on. After investigating I found that this was the wrong motherboard by looking at the serial number sticker and also comparing the two on the Gigabyte website. The reason it wasn't working is because Rev 1.4 doesn't not support AM3+ processors, which I had (AMD FX4100). I sent it back for a replacement of the correct MoBo, and I my RMA ended up as a refund (which was great, the whole RMA process was just fine) so now I'm back to square one.

Other Thoughts: I was really hoping to have my computer built at least a week after the 4th of July, but now it's the 18th and I have no computer and have to re-research motherboards that are compatible with my setup. I don't feel comfortable ordering the same motherboard (i think it's backordered as well) just because i don't want this mistake happening again.
