4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well, I have had no big issues with this motherboard

Cons: would have liked more SATA3 ports, firewire was somewhat flakey.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Rock solid. I use the computer with this board every day for business, Photoshop, etc and it hasn't failed me yet. I've probably restarted 3 times in the past year and all of those times have been voluntary. I'm sure Windows 7 has a lot to do with that, but it takes a good motherboard too.

Cons: Not an overclocker's board. Also, its USB3 ports are only on the back. If your case has USBs on the front, they will only be able to plug into a USB2 port.

Other Thoughts: There are probably newer, better boards on the market now, but as an out-of-box or second hand purchase, you should have a good deal on your hands.

3 out of 5 eggsFailed after just under 2 years

Pros: The GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 has nice features and performs very well.
( over 7000 points on Passmark w. i5-2500)
Has a ton of USB ports.
Running 4 different OS's on it.

Cons: Unable to switch Os's due to boot loop when restarting.
Have to disconnect power, drain caps by pressing power. button, then wait anywhere from 30 min to 6 hrs for it to get up running again.
Current workaround is to suspend the system and not shut it down or restart.

Other Thoughts: As the speed of components increases, the quality declines.

For the past few years MB's seem to be short lived and die like flies.
Where is the advantage of military components and solid caps if slapped together without quality. There is no board on the market today that would last half as long as my stone age Abit BH-6 which still runs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board Out Of The Box!

Pros: Good number of USB headers, SATA connectors not placed at bad angle, fast and stable so far.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Worked great for my first Hackintosh build, which includes Lion! Have not had any of the power cycling issues that forced me to RMA two different Gigabyte Z68 based boards.

3 out of 5 eggsNot So Sure Anymore

Pros: Price. Good board when it works

Cons: This is my 2nd review within 2 days for this product. I left a positive review yesterday, despite having a bad board, but today one of my techs found the same problem (keeps rebooting) with ANOTHER board. I dont know if its just a bad batch or what, but out of 1 order, 2 out of the 3 boards we ordered are bad

Other Thoughts: Im giving it 3 eggs because i believe that sometimes batches can go bad and ive had good experience with gigabyte so i dont want to just put 1 egg because im mad. Things happen. But 2/3 boards bad on a single order, thats a little scary. Maybe they were damaged in shipping, who knows. I know others have had similar issues.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Good price. Good board. I use a lot of these with DVR builds.

Cons: Out of maybe 10 boards i've bought, had similar issues where it would post once, and then kept going into a boot cycle. Tried replacing everything, finally tried a new mobo, and it worked. So its a bad board. Im not deducting an egg because of that, sometimes you get bad boards, thats life and it happens with EVERY manufacturer. I still love Gigabytes boards

Other Thoughts: I unfortunatly have to switch motherboards as I build DVRs and this particular board doesnt work with our DVR cards. The 1156 socket type do, but thats being phased out. Tried numerous 1155 gigabyte boards, no luck with our DVRs. But still, great boards. Ive used them for the past 5 years in DVRs

3 out of 5 eggsAlmost Worked Fine

Pros: I'll let you know when I get it working.

Cons: If my monitor didn't have red pin-stripes with this motherboard, I'd be perfectly happy. I'm using a Sandy Bridge Processor. It seems to have a problem with the output panel on the back - audio doesn't work on back, but it does on the front panel. DVI gives red lines (most of the time) HDMI looks great. Should have got an Asus.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome mobo

Pros: Fast, versatile, lots of features. Nice integrated graphics with appropriate CPU. Straightforward BIOS. Fast SATA and USB. Integrated TI Firewire chipset (good for high-end audio). Can control my Noctua 3-pin HSF fan via voltage.

Cons: None that I've encountered.

Other Thoughts: Some of the reviews of this board are questionable, blaming it for issues with CPUs, etc. IME this is an excellent product.

My "High-end Quiet HTPC" build:

Zalman HD160+ case (get 'em while they last ... sadly discontinued)
Gigabyte GA-H67A-UD3H-B3
Intel Core i5-2405S
Noctua NH-C14
Kingston 4GB KVR1066D3N7
Seasonic X650
Crucial 64GB SSD
WD 1TB Scorpio Blue in NoVibes adapter
Noctua case fans
Win 7 64-bit
