5 out of 5 eggsSolid Performaer

Pros: Nice Feature set for the price point. Dyarable. Solid performer. Would Buy again.

Cons: No Complaints. This board has run every OS I've thrown at it flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid 1155 board that supports Hackintoshing

Pros: I have had this board running constantly for over a month now and I can't complain at all. It is a stable, feature rich board crammed into a small form factor. I love it and I've even read that it can run Mac OS if you are so inclined.

Cons: None. This is a great board and I will buy more of them if the need arises.

5 out of 5 eggsFor All But the Serious Gamer

Pros: Great board for all but multi-GPU gaming. Strong business-class board. Can use latest Intel Sandybridge processors with no additional graphics card. Changeable BIOS settings for Intel Graphics memory use. Dual monitors works fine with D-Sub and DVI (HDMI not tested--usually only one digital output is supported at a time). Strong suite of utilities from Gigabyte as usual. Windows-based BIOS update tool is very nice.

4 Memory slots
USB 3 (no header for front panel USB 3 though)
D-Sub, DVI, HDMI options for output

Reasonable price

Cons: Only one case fan header--should have at least one more.

3 out of 5 eggsTerrible for HTPC

Pros: Seems to work well when used for standard purposes. This platform is stable and I had no problems with installation.

Cons: -Despite the audio chipset having many available features, Gigabyte hasn't chosen to implement them. It doesn't provide DDL which makes it less compatible than it could be.
-I'm currently experiencing video problems when playing some MKV files. CPU usage and GPU usage are low, but artifacts are created which are not present on my two other systems. The problem does not follow the video card, so it has to be in some way attributed to the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I'll be buying a MSI motherboard to replace this one. Newegg's search feature really needs improvement so you can narrow down what you are looking for. As an example, when searching within the motherboard results, 0 hits are found for THX despite this product having it listed in the description.

5 out of 5 eggsGood board, lots of features

Pros: 4 Ram Slots, USB 3.0, Sata 6, HDMI out. So far loving my Sandy Bridge setup. Bought this so I can expand if need be. Currently only running HD 2000 graphics as I don't game. Bought at a Micro Center in a combo deal and got an awesome price, but even at full price still a decent deal.

Cons: No eSata (have a back plate adapter so not a deal breaker.) Ram only runs at 1333 but this seems to be a limitation to H67. You can see the red optical light from the S/PDIF out but nothing terrible. Overall no real cons for an i3 setup.

Other Thoughts: i3 2100 (wanted a 2100t is $135 vs $99 locally for 2100)
4gb Gskill 1600mhz ddr3 (running at 1333)
2tb Samsung spinpoint
LG Burner
Antec NSK2400 case
Earthwatts 380w 80+ PSU
Hopefully adding some more ram soon as well as Sata 6 SSD.

3 out of 5 eggsStrange Problem

Pros: This seems a great board supporting Sandy Bridge with Sata3 and USB 3 and 4 memory slots only lacking Firewire and USB headers on motherboard.

Cons: Strangest problem in 35 years of building PCs. OS installs (Win 7 or Vista Ultimate - tried both) but after CD or DVD removed computer it will not boot. If you put a disk in the drive (any disk: Windows. driver, video, audio) the system will boot. If you disconnect the DVD the system will boot but it's not the DVD: LG, Asus, Plextor, Samsung drives were all the same. It's not the hard drive; Samsung, WD or Crucial were all the same and removing partitions and cleaning disks and reinstalling the OS doesn't help. A disk from the working Z68 board shows exactly the same problem. Changing SATA port or controller doesn't help. I assume this is another but new SATA controller issue in that if a device is present it must have storage present. Will contact Gigabyte unless they call me (956-686-3131).

Other Thoughts: I had ordered this board two days before X68 game out so I ordered new Gigabyte Z68 board and worked with that for a few weeks; thus I have missed my RMA slot.

2 out of 5 eggsVideo Issues

Pros: Easy install and setup, very simple board. H67 with I5-2500 Sandy Bridge with onboard graphics available.

Cons: Can't use dual monitors, when booting into OS (Win7 Ultmiate) DVI monitor disappears, not visible to OS. Tried to update BIOS to see if it helps, requires dos boot floppy - no USB drive support? @Bios does not have updated bios available. Bought for urgent need, video is showstopper

Other Thoughts: Great Newegg delivery as always. No info on Gigabyte website for this issue. Disappointing experience, will need to replace ASAP with different brand working board.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb Desktop PC

Pros: Been buying gigabyte brand for 11 years now, and they have never let me down (even when i have had the occasional break down).

You can read the specs to see why this is great, but i would like to point out the following:

1. All PCIe slots conform to PCIe 2.0, so those PCIe x1 Sata6 or USB3 expansion cards will provide full transfer speeds

2. If using dedicated video card, the internal video card is turned off and not seen my OS. Making you feel absolute that your ram and CPU is being used for other things

3. If your not familiar with "Charge Technology", basically standard USB devices will charge faster and older USB 2.0 ports actually dont support charging ipad (a lesson i have learned), but this one supports it.

Cons: it was a bummer to see only 1 additional fan monitor (CPU fan doesn't count, never seen a mobo without a cpu fan controller), though most fans have molex connections to power them on, they are not monitored (unless you purchase 3rd party device). When it comes to those next to silent fans, unless you noticed them not running you usually find out when your computer starts having thermal complaints

Other Thoughts: Dont know the extensive Overclocking you can do with this board but i see that it does offer some options. I guess with a decent PSU, you can get some form of tweaking done, but then again, if I am an overclocker, I am buying a more expensive board...

I've paired this board with the following components:
CPU : Core i3-2100
RAM: Corsair Dominator ddr3 1333 (4x1gb)
HDD (OS): OCZ Solid 3 120gb (sataIII)
HDD (Data): Dual WD Black 500gb (mirror)
PSU: Case included 500watt)
GPU: Zotac GT440 (dual slot)
CASE: Broadway 943PK

as always, feel free to gmail my nickname with questions or comments

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect board, no problems yet, very futureproof

Pros: USB 3.0
Works perfectly...

Nothing comes to my mind right now

Cons: There are so 3 pin fan plugs, so you will have to buy a 4 pin molex power adapter if your case has a fan with a 3 pin plug.

Other Thoughts: Core i5 2500
4GB RAM DDR3 1333
