5 out of 5 eggsPlease disregard last post.

Pros: Boards are perfect for budget builds. Please disregard my last post.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: Please disregard my last post. I guess I posted a review too soon. I thought it was pretty fishy that both boards were experiencing identical problems. It turns out the memory was the issue. I apologize for any confusion.

1 out of 5 eggs2 out of 3 had no video

Pros: One out of the three that I purchased worked without any problems.
Price is decent.

Cons: 2 out of the three that I ordered aren't displaying any video at all. I'm not sure why that would be, but it wont post, and I obviously can't do anything in the BIOS since I can't see what I'm doing.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 3 of these boards to do three very similar builds. 2 out of three didn't show any video at all (like I already stated in the CONS section).

Very disappointed in this product. I bought these boards specifically since I've never had any issues with Gigabyte in the past (I've used several boards and graphics cards without a single issue). Hopefully I can get this issue resolved soon or I will not be buying Gigabyte again.

2 out of 5 eggsdisappointed

Pros: when its able to boot up everything things run fine.

Cons: been having boot loops with this mobo. and problems saying that its having startup errors due to overclocking which i never even touched the settings.

Other Thoughts: went through an RMA because I had boot loop issues. all the other parts on my computer are fine because I tested them on other builds that I have. After testing everything for about a month or so, I have days where it works fine and days where I'm stuck in boot loop for an hour or so. I've tried looking up support on this issue but nothing seems to be specific enough for this motherboard. looks like I waited too long to get a refund on this item as well...my advice be wary of this motherboard because I seem to have gotten a bad one out of the bunch. twice.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: Great price! This board has 512MB dedicated video (ATI AMD 760) Which is pretty nice. I did not need to purchase an additional video card to play my game Civilization 5. Although I will upgrade to a 1GB.

Cons: No USB 3.0 Only 4 2.0 USB on the back, can add more though. The audio connector was too far for my case audio cable to reach. So my front audio jack does not work. Windows 7 did not install the Ethernet driver. Had to use my laptop to download from manufacturer. So far not major problems, I bought warranty just in case though.

Other Thoughts: My setup:
Installed AMD Athlon II x4 640 3.0Ghz
4GB of RAM (2 x 2GB which is extra ram that I had)
I will be upgrading to 16GB as soon as I get paid.
1TB Hard drive.
I loaded windows 8 with no problems... 3-days later I removed windows 8 and installed 7.

3 out of 5 eggsBudget board with a few problems

Pros: Obviously price is the biggest selling point. It fired right up. It's very small and should work in most tight mATX cases.

Cons: I can find no actual boot order configuration. Just a boot device menu that can be accessed at start up by pressing F12. The basic BIOS lacks this and other things you might expect. AHCI mode did not seem to work at all. Others have mentioned the lack of DVI or HDMI connectors.

Other Thoughts: I have worked with many budget boards the past few years and I don't think this is the place to save a few bucks. This board worked and will not be returned so long as it keeps working, but spending a few dollars more is clearly warranted, no matter how poor you are.

1 out of 5 eggsVery disappointing

Pros: The price was right...at the time. Since I bought this, I now remember the phrase "you get what you pay for."

Cons: Worked flawlessly for about a month. After that, I started getting constant "update DMI" on system boot. Clearing the CMOS worked temporarily but after a day, I started getting the same messages. Uninstalled anything that could be changing the settings, i.e., temp monitor, etc. but that provided little help. Now, the system refuses to boot regardless of the bios settings. The board also has difficulty in recognizing between being configured for raid or legacy SATA interface. I truly believe that the bios itself is bad or corrupt as there have never been changes in hardware to cause the "update DMI" message to appear. Overall, I was very disappointed with this board; very unusual for a Gigabyte product.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fired right up. Everything is working. Grate low price for budget build.

Cons: Like other have said, no manual. You have to download it from their website. Not that big of a deal however, if you dont have another computer could be a problem. No HDMI out. My first Gigabyte board from 2010 has HDMI out so a little disapointed. However, on the flip side it was a lower cost board.

Other Thoughts: My last Gigabyte board from 2010 is still going strong so I have to think this will be a good MB for years to come. It's a nice board for the cost.

4 out of 5 eggsbasic mobo

Pros: very durible for your every day uses, mild gameing, used about 5 of these far not one problem. on most ocations can install mobo and restart and continue to use old os, both times i did it , took over seemlessly. the am3+ socket leave it open for many core choices.

Cons: only 2 ram slots, think by todays stanards all mobo should have 4 slots. basic 3 jack audio on back panel.
use of any fat 1 slot or double slot pci e cards block the pci mini port, deams it useless

Other Thoughts: very good board for pffice and home use, if need a mobo to fix familey pc there it is, nice board for the money. gigybytes power my machines for me and people i buld for.

not a great game platform but for a cheap starter or replacement for low cost
