4 out of 5 eggsGreat little board

Pros: This board may be small but it comes equipped with a lot of nice technology.
It fit right into my case no problem and has lasted 3 upgrades to my system. The RAM capacity allows for a lot of expansion and it supports the x6
The BIOS on this is really nice too, has lots of features

Cons: The clips on the slots can be really stiff sometimes which can get annoying

5 out of 5 eggsHad it for over a year

Pros: Price, capability, nice design, MSI product, does all I need.
Phenom II X4 ready, DDR3 ready (see other thoughts), PCI 2.0, plenty SataII, small, fast, well designed.

Cons: As many have mentioned - overclocking switches happen to be right under the video card.
Also BIOS needs flashing. Install MSI live support, then download and install recommended BIOS update and Realtech Ethernet controller driver (this on blue my mind away increasing broadband speed like 5 times for me). Bios update is easy: extract downloaded BIOS file and run install.exe.
No clue how to use OC switches, since manual doesn't cover it.

Other Thoughts: Be carefull buying DDR3 1600 for this mobo. Unless it's in compatibility list, you'll have to do some adjusting to make it run stable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Overclocking is a breeze.
Board has never failed me in over a year, or any problems, same goes as my previous MSI setup.

Cons: Wish ide have gotten an SLI version, but knew this when buying it.

Other Thoughts: Let me start off by saying, anyone saying MSI is poor quality must not know what they are doing when they buy these products, everything ive owned besides psu, cpu, ram have been MSI, and i've NEVER had ANY problems with them, and when I upgrade all my equipment in the next 2 weeks I plan on going all MSI again. Do your research before buying things and so many people on this site wouldnt have so many problems!

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposed to

Pros: * Works
* Holds lots of ram
* Can use an AMD Phenom II 4x 3.4GHZ processor on it (and I did :) )

Cons: RAM couldn't run at speed as I thought it should. I had to set it to a lower speed. Maybe it's my fault.

Other Thoughts: Great board if you're not looking to get into the newer technology of 6 core or 8 core.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Very stable. Easy setup for all of my components. Called O.B.A.M.A GWB 2.0.

Cons: Is not able to predict the future sockets of AMD and self upgrade the socket.

Other Thoughts: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 1600
AMD Phenom II X4 965
XFX HD-585X-ZNFC Radeon HD 5850 1GB

5 out of 5 eggsLittle buggy mobo, but with great features & unlocking

Pros: I bought this mobo, because I planned to give my old MSI am2/am3 to my mother.
Also this board had no issues upon starting up.
As long as you have a supported AM3 sempron, Athlon II or even Phenom II it will automatically identify the cpu and try to come on.
Couple this with Kingston or Crucial DDR3 240 pin ram 1600 up to 2 or 4gb, 500 watt power supply and a good sata hdd and dvd-burner, and you have yourself a new machine.
If it does boot up please update the bios to v1.9 from msi website, as the current v1.2 bios has issues with sound and automatically over clocking the cpu when you told it not to.
Also the best thing about this mobo, is that "IT WILL" unlock a Athlon II X3 and Phenom II X3 into a quadcore.
When it unlocks the 4th core, do not oc'd the cpu past it's default speed, as most 4th cores unlocked on all amd cpu's can't handle that kind of stress, not unless you have a after market heatsink fan and good ram voltages it might be able to hanle it, just beware.

Cons: Likes to OC's the cpu when you have not told it to do so.
Upon first bootup, prepare for some BSOD and to fix them fast.

Other Thoughts: For a budget build or a mid high end range gaming or computer off machine for under 600.00 you can't go wrong with this deal.

1 out of 5 eggsNope, broke at one.

Pros: None, it didn't work.

Cons: The lever for the cpu fell off along with the whitish plastic on the slot. On boot, I would get no video, tried multiple video cards. Used a AMD Phenom 2 X6.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it if you can help it. I bought it elsewhere for 38 bucks, and it was still not worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsnice and simple

Pros: Cheap, AM3 chip-set, pretty easy to install

Cons: No SLI support

Other Thoughts: I bought this board cause I needed a replacement quick and cheap, and I don't use SLI so this board was perfect. If your looking for a high performing board without SLI this is it!

4 out of 5 eggsBIOS - RAID :(

Pros: Its good simple setup, has what you need for a really simple high performance getup. put a 3.4GHz quad in here with 8GB RAM and a ATi HD4850 just fine.

Cons: Needed to update the BIOS to get it to work right with the RAM i got for it. Had lots of issues with the RAID.

Other Thoughts: Better instructions on the raid would of been help full.
