5 out of 5 eggsOverclocking

Pros: I have had this board for over four years and still running strong. This board will overclock, I have a Q9400 @ 3.2 Mhz , Gskill ddr2-800 5-5-5-13 2T. Read other thoughts so you can overclock yours.

Cons: Should have bought another one when it was on sale.

Other Thoughts: If you want to overclock this board you have to raise the PCI-E frequency over 100 in bios. It has to be set on 118 to achieve 1600 fsb on quad core. Set memory to 1:1 and disable C1E. Also it has never burned up any video cards going over 100 in Pci-e, I currently have a Sapphire HD7870 flex in it now. I average 35-50 fps on ultra in BF3 online in 64 player maps. Before that I had a HD6950 and before that a HD5570.

5 out of 5 eggsBeen great!

Pros: Worked perfectly, not a single problem

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought this back in 2011 and I haven't had a single problem. Of course to today's standards, it is "outdated" but I ran an E8500 with 4GB RAM and GTX560 with it and it rocked just about anything I threw at it. Great board!

4 out of 5 eggsNo problems here

Pros: Everything worked as it should for the most part. The bios gives very limited options for overclocking, but DOES give some options, however I found them to not work very well, but I am aware that is actually a limitation of the chipset, so I don't even know why they bothered to include that in the bios. And as for goofballs on here that give a product ONE star for it lasting over three years with no problems, I just can't understand the mentality of it. If it would have lasted only six years would that have been two stars?

Cons: None, since I knew it was just a basic board that likes to run stuff at stock speed. Just what I bought it for.

Other Thoughts: Some people should appreciate a product that lasts as long as the warranty claimed it would with no problems, especially considering it was one of the cheapest boards around.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little motherboard

Pros: The motherboard failed on my office computer and I I didn't want to spend a lot of money to get it back up and running. Bought this at a local computer store for $52.00. My old Core 2 Duo E8400 Cpu and 4 gig of memory along with a new Seagate 500 gig drive runs circles around the old MSI 945GCM7 motherboard setup. I'm good for another couple of years.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard

Pros: I bought this to replace my old ECS motherboard and have to say its been worth every penny. Not a single BSOD (which i was having with my ECS)

Cons: The 2 PCI card are unusable if you have a Video card installed. Its just too close to the PCI Express slot.

Other Thoughts: I had to purchase a PCI extender cable to be able to use the bottom PCI slot.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this board

Pros: overclocks 10-15% on junk ram , my asus boards won't overclock at all on cheap ram i have to get at least supertalent to make them happy lol

Cons: fan is noisy but i notice it does keep the temps down

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these boards i run an overclocked E5800 Pentium dual core in one of them (poor mans E8400 core2 duo) running at 3.41 ghz (stock is 3.2) on cheap unlabeled ram , I also have a little dual core e2140 pentium thats running 1.9 ghz (stock is 1.6 ) it did crash at 2ghz but i knew with the ram it was going to be limited does fine at 1.9 though. These boards at awesome just to only use ddr2 ram , there cheap to get (40 bucks) if you look around enough. if you want a cheap board to have FUN OVERCLOCKING and not have to worry about it costing a fortune to replace get this board MSI P21 series boards rock , i love these so much i bought their P21 AM3+ board to start my fx4100 build.
