The onboard expansion slots include 1 AGP 4x/8x and 3 PCI slots which provide you with enough options to connect your needed devices.

With the two SATA 1.5Gb/s connections, you can now store quite a considerable amount of data on your new SATA hard drives. The PM8M-V has a VIA UniChrome 2D/3D graphics core integrated onboard chipset that delivers enhanced video for gamers. The PM8M-V is also fitted with 6-channel Realtek ALC655, delivering high quality surround sound. The onboard Realtek 8201CL PHY LAN is handy for logging on to any network. All things considered, the motherboard is ideal for gaming and for multimedia.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat low cost board

Pros: Easy to install and get up and running. Swapped my old board/processor for this board w/ a Celeron processor in my server and had no glitches at all. Installed a few drivers off the CD and was good to go.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I'm using this board in my server at home. Did not try to overclock or do anything special, so its a great low cost simple board for my purposes.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This MB is great, I used it to repair an older PC and by using this MB i can really upgrade to better cpu, memory and HD. The computer sold B4 i had a chance to really check out the performace. The owner calls and has nothing but raves about it. Esay to load drivers, all on the disk. Real good buy, I have no problem buying more of these.

Cons: I did not get a chance to play around with this MB.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal, great product

Pros: I wanted an expensive MB for out 3 year old to play games on. This MB worked just as advertised, all of the drivers worked the first time, and it's 100% stable. Nothing else could be asked for. I've paid a lot more for boards and had more trouble then this one.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Very inexpensive but not cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it!!

Pros: Very universal design, everything's colorcoded, RAID, SATA, AGP 4x/8x, Prescott ready, runs with Northwood, very simple bios, good price, comes with free software! Fast ethernet card, clear sound, VIA chipset, overclockable, thermometers everywhere, and MANY MORE!!

Cons: The CPU and SYS fan connectors are very hard to reach when CPU cooler is installed. Floppy drive connector is right below the bottom PCI slot. Front panel connectors, USB connectors and audio connectors are hard to reach once the motherboard is installed, only two SATA ports, power connectors on left side, capacitors close to CPU socket.

Other Thoughts: ALthough it is a value board, it is still a very good motherboard. The cons above are very minor things but the performance of the board is great. Havent tried the onboard video but sure it is great too!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement Again

Pros: These boards work great for us. We've been using these as replacements for dead e-machine systems. Purchased at least 20 of these over the past 8 months and still no bad experiences.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Have never received a board DOA. Make sure to check MSI's website for CPU support before ordering. Also, make sure you are using a good power supply before proceeding with the build.

Pros: My IC7MAX3 mobo went out on me and I didnt feel like spending another 2 bills on a mobo so i got this cheap on. Works good had no problems installing. Its very simple and easy to use.

Cons: Lacks some features but I cant complain. As long as I have a computer running thats all that matters for now.
