5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good...

Pros: Working great so far, no issues installing drivers/hardware. Great price/hardware if you're not looking to run dual graphic cards.

Cons: A couple of the SATA connections are in odd places.

Other Thoughts: First MSI product, won't be the last.

3 out of 5 eggsOS INSTALL ISSUES!!!! READ BELOW

Pros: This motherboard has more features that I will use in a lifetime. Overclocking is very mild if you allow the genie to do it's thing. (3.1ghz became 3.2ghz) as opposed to 3.4ghz.

Cons: OS INSTALL ISSUES!! READ HERE
Ok, my loss your gain. It took me about 4 hours to figure this out but I did eventually. This MOBO was part of a new build where I had a new HD and my old HD. I had everything installed and ready to go. The BIOS read both hard drives fine, but the OS would not install. In-fact it wouldn't even load the OS loader, it just froze every time. Eventually after much troubleshooting, I had to flash the BIOS with the latest version to resolve the problem. It has been fine since.

Non-The-Less, we shouldn't have to flash the bios to install an operating system out of the box!

Other Thoughts: Additional thoughts. The motherboard has a female power connector with 8 pins. My power supply had a male 6 pin connector and (2) 4 pin connectors. I contacted tech support, and they said a single 4 pin connector would suffice (there are markings on the female connector as to which connections you use in the 4 pin connection).

3 out of 5 eggsQuestionable

Pros: Nice solid board...plenty of system fan plugs...gobs of USB ports. Inexpensive.

Cons: Not impressed with the CPU hold down latch. Not impressed with MSI's Live Update, or their online support.

Other Thoughts: Used this board in a new build. Was up and running with a new copy of Windows 7 right away. Used MSI's Live Update for the drivers and Bios per their instructions, and board never worked again. Spent half a day switching out components to determine it was the board. E-mailed MSI and response was very slow, and off subject. After reading quite a few postings in tech forums I found out quite a few people experienced dead boards after using MSI's Live Update. Bought the same exact board locally (hoping to keep windows happy) (for quite a bit more than Newegg), and installed it. Been using it for a week now, and everything appears OK. I have not updated this board, and I'm not sure whether I'll try or not. I'll have to see some positive postings in some tech forums first. If you buy this board my advice would be..DO NOT USE MSI's LIVE UPDATE to update this board. 5 eggs to Newegg who RMA'd my original board right away...no hassle refund. That's why I shop for tech stuff here exclusivley.

5 out of 5 eggsNice MSI

Pros: I have been a Gigabyte fan for years and bought this MSI board because of the price, rebate, and features. I have been very impressed. The new build went together amazingly fast and the board has been rock solid stable. Also, MSI processed the rebate in less than a month. Great job and I am very happy.

5 out of 5 eggsEasy install, works as advertised.

Pros: Was easy to install. The directions were excellent.
The setup screen lets you use a mouse!
The setup options utility is straightforward and easy to use.
Works well with the I5 2500k

Cons: My case was too small and I had to get a new one because I didn't measure? That's my own fault though.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: So far so good. Easy install.

Cons: It wasn't free. =[

Other Thoughts: The OC Genie has me boggled, but that is about it. BIOS is a walk in the park. Nice & small.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Board

Pros: Great looking board.. i hate the light blue that Asus and Gigabyte are using lately. Solid quality, all the features I needed. Got this at a great sale price of $88. BIOS is easy to use.

Cons: I find the placement of Sata 1-4 to be inconvenient, Im using a MSI Twin Frozr 6870 and the card covers them.. so if you have alot of SATA devices connect them first.

Other Thoughts: If you don't need a super high end crossfire/sli board, this is a great choice. Perfect for low cost/ budget builds.

2 out of 5 eggsMSI, horrible to deal with

Pros: Easy overclock, that's it. This board is working, but I can tell it will have to be replaced soon due to MSI support failures

Cons: Software support is ABYSMAL, as is their customer service, if you can call it that.

SuperCharger doesn't work with the ipad, in fact it took them months to get an update that launched properly (but still doesn't work. Their support is absolutely bottom rung and is easily enough for me to never buy msi again.

Updating is arduous... through the app or web. They seem to constantly be in a state of lost connection so your downloads error, time out, etc. This is not due to my connection.

Other Thoughts: Their 'software suite' is basically junk, with the exception of the OC Genie, which works very well. Their 'LiveUpdate' application is a joke, failing constantly. Their bios updates seem haphazzard, their support clearly don't speak english as a primary language.

Dealing with MSI has been a huge exercise in frustration. They claim a great warranty, but should you have to use it, you'll end up buying a new board as they ask you to jump through hoops. They are employing super low level tech support who don't grasp basic concepts, can't communicate in english, and mostly copy and paste.

I have no issue with foreign tech support, but there are a host of qualified people in other countries, MSI just chooses not to employ them.

I would avoid MSI as a brand in general at this point
