1 out of 5 eggsBad experience.

Pros: Motherboard works fine with my processor and all the equipment.

Cons: The line out port mixes up the left and right channels sometimes, and no I didn't connect the cable to the RS port.

The SATA ports are arranged quite stupidly to point up and sideways. What's with that?

I had to RMA the first board I got because one pin on the socket was too long, preventing proper connection with the processor. The MSI representative on the phone rudely told me to put in a request online after asking in a snotty tone why it took me so long to RMA the board. I bought it well before I intended to put the computer together! They even made me pay shipping, so I really don't think it deserves more than 1 egg.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We apologize for the issues that you are having with this product.
It sounds like the socket pins are bent, and there is a $35 fee to repair the socket due to CID (customer-induced damage) if confirmed.

1 out of 5 eggs8>(

Pros: Great board

Cons: Showed up & had bent pins in socket. This is my 1st ever RMA I have had to do with the builds I have done using Newegg.

Other Thoughts: The board showed up damaged & Newegg in their infinite wisdom said it was my fault for the damage. I Now own a $90.00 paper weight. 8>(

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: Worked well, Great price too. Click bios is super handy! plus you can disable the cheesy msi startup logo. Solid board for a good price. Paired it with an i3-2120, 4 gigs of ddr3-1333, ssd, and a gtx 260. Really quick, really satisfied.

Cons: none, other than the "designed in taipei" stuck on the board.. oh well.

Other Thoughts: Would purchase again for a moderate budget build

1 out of 5 eggs2 DOA

Pros: Price, pretty

Cons: features are lacking, received 2 DOA

Other Thoughts: OK, I have now been without a PC for over a month because of 2 DOA boards. Good job MSI! I dont think I will take a chance with MSI again, since this has never happened to me before, and I have built over 50 PCs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value but confirm CPU compatibility

Pros: $60 (after rebate card) for an MSI full ATX MB!

Cons: CAUTION only SOME Sandy Bridge LGA 1155 socket CPUs are compatible. See below!!

Other Thoughts: This is a GREAT value for a budget-minded system build. I paired with Pentium G620 CPU (another outstanding value at $64). CAUTION- Research carefully as this board (and the bios version it ships with) is NOT compatible with ALL LGA 1155 socket CPUs. See http://www.msi.com/product/mb/H67A-G43--B3-.html#/?div=CPUSupport. Only buy CPU listed as compatible with BIOS v. 3.0 to make sure it will work as shipped. You CANT update the Bios w/o a compatible CPU.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: price paid for board, features I was looking for.

Cons: DOA. RMA request was easy, but need to pay for return shipping.

Other Thoughts: Reading through the reviews I should have stayed clear of this board. For anyone looking into this board take in consideration that as the original price might appeal to you, there might be a need to RMA this thing once or twice so calculate the shipping plus your time and frustration. Knowing what I know now I would have spent some extra money on a different board.

3 out of 5 eggsGood board for Sandy Bridge ONLY

Pros: Great feature set in a value priced motherboard when coupled with the $20 rebate.

Cons: Only works with FIRST GEN, Sandy Bridge CPUs. Will not work with Ivy Bridge processors. So be aware which CPU you buy this board for. With an Ivy Bridge processor installed it won't even post. It will just cycle power on, four beeps, power off, power on, 4 beeps, power off, etc, ad infinitum.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is usually great about product specs in their ads, but missed the boat on this one.
