The ASUS P5GPL-X SE is unlike any other 915PL-based motherboard, featuring several advanced features. It supports LGA775 Pentium 4 and Celeron processors with 800/533 MHz FSB. Its 2GB (MaxCap) Dual channel DDR 400 memory architecture kicks performance up and load time down. CPU Lock Free lets you to adjust the CPU multiplier up to 14X, letting you ramp your system's performance higher whiile not pushing your CPU beyond stability.
This board supports Intel EM64T, and is ready for the the next-generation 64-bit processors. It also supports the Intel EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology) that automatically adjusts CPU voltage and core frequency for optimum working conditions. The on-board ADI AD1986A high-definition audio Codec delivers crystal clear 6-channel sound. It also features an on-board Gigabit LAN chipset that eliminates the need for an external LAN card.
