WOW!
- Pros: i dont know yet, couldn't use it.
- Cons: doesn't support the e8400, so i can't get to the bios screen. i have to flash the bios before doing anything. the tech support guy said that i can either send it in, or i can buy another processor with socket t, and flash the bios myself. i was not aware of this before-hand. it should say this somewhere.
- Other Thoughts: asus p5k-v, intel e8400 @ 3.0ghz, ocz reaper hpc edition (2x 1gb), pny 8800gt
ElXtronic PC Systems
- Pros: Stable, Fast, Takes everything my client throws at it with ease! Bang for Buck Quality Specs + Flawless Operation.
- Cons: No SLi-Support, No cons as far as my client's needs go.
- Other Thoughts: ~ElXtronic PC Systems~ #1 in Quality Performance Builds since 01'
fantastic mobo
- Pros: Purchased this motherboard to use in a computer I built for my father. The motherboard was extremely easy to install, and had very clear markings on the board to label the connectors. I loved the front usb/sound/pw/reset connector they provided...which makes hooking up those front pin connectors trivial. It was extremely easy to build and configure, everything worked on first boot attempt, automatically configured my sata HDD and optical drive (no driver installation needed) and ASUS provided a fantastic driver installation disc that installed, auto rebooted, and auto resumed until the process was complete.
In short, this was my first ASUS motherboard purchase, and will definately NOT be my last. 5 stars.
- Cons: Another reviewer mentioned that the manual sucks...I would classify it as 'simple' rather than bad. but ASUS makes it so easy to setup and understand, you shouldn't need it.
- Other Thoughts: buy this motherboard.
