- Pros: Wolfdale support out of box, nice quick connectors for front panel connections, came with sata, ide, and fdd cables
- Cons: Kinda ugly colors, not a fan of the intel pushpins but not the mobos fault
- Other Thoughts: everything went smoth with build
intel e8400, corsair xms2 x 4gb , apevia x-qboii case w/ window
Awsome!
- Pros: Cant say enough good thing about this board and how robost it is. I swapped cases recently and had messed up on installation, so the mobo was grounding out on the case. I had to replace my PSU but the motherboard is still working great. I cant say if the PSU saved the mobo or not but all I know is I was knocking this thing around pretty good and it still is working great.
- Cons: Nothing really. I just hate intels pushpin CPU cooler design, I cant say enough bad things about it. Not the mobos fualt though.
- Other Thoughts: Once you figure out the CPU cooler pushin and how it works its actually easier.
Nice, but
- Pros: Great motherboard, lots of I/O and capability packed into a small package. In a MicroATX case some difficulties were anticipated but it fit perfectly with no trouble.
- Cons: ASUS has a COM port connector on the motherboard. Newegg does NOT sell the "must be purchased separately" cable and does not tell anyone this cable even exists.
- Other Thoughts: This is my third motherboard purchase from Newegg. All good so far, with the exception that sometimes all the parts are not available as the manufacturer had hoped.
