5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Wolfdale support out of box, nice quick connectors for front panel connections, came with sata, ide, and fdd cables

Cons: Kinda ugly colors, not a fan of the intel pushpins but not the mobos fault

Other Thoughts: everything went smoth with build
intel e8400, corsair xms2 x 4gb , apevia x-qboii case w/ window

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome!

Pros: Cant say enough good thing about this board and how robost it is. I swapped cases recently and had messed up on installation, so the mobo was grounding out on the case. I had to replace my PSU but the motherboard is still working great. I cant say if the PSU saved the mobo or not but all I know is I was knocking this thing around pretty good and it still is working great.

Cons: Nothing really. I just hate intels pushpin CPU cooler design, I cant say enough bad things about it. Not the mobos fualt though.

Other Thoughts: Once you figure out the CPU cooler pushin and how it works its actually easier.

5 out of 5 eggsNice, but

Pros: Great motherboard, lots of I/O and capability packed into a small package. In a MicroATX case some difficulties were anticipated but it fit perfectly with no trouble.

Cons: ASUS has a COM port connector on the motherboard. Newegg does NOT sell the "must be purchased separately" cable and does not tell anyone this cable even exists.

Other Thoughts: This is my third motherboard purchase from Newegg. All good so far, with the exception that sometimes all the parts are not available as the manufacturer had hoped.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable Board, Good Functionality

Pros: Board worked first time, and every time since initial setup. Properly detected both my Quad 9450 45nm CPU and 4gb of DDR2 1066. Used as a Micro gaming platform along with a Radeon 4850 no problems at all. Onboard video works well for getting a system running, or for use as a workstation.

Cons: Could use maybe one more PCI slot.

Other Thoughts: I am very happy with how this board has performed in my Micro gaming rig. I noticed if you disconnect power or shutoff the PSU, next time you turn on the PC it will turn on for about 1 second, shut off, then boot normally. I'm not certain why and I don't see it as a problem. MB Temps read hot due to placement of the temp sensor, this was intentional on Asus' part.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm a Believer

Pros: This board is solid. Everything except the graphics part is perfect. Very easy to set up, very easy to overclock if that's your thing, and it stays relatively cool (~102F with overclock of about 20%, around 96F without, both under no load... Ive only been able to get it up to 112F under full CPU load).

Cons: The integrated graphics TOTALLY SUCK. Make sure and buy a graphics card if you buy this board. It's a great board, but not for graphics. The thing can't remember your last screensize, or if it does, it makes it horribly blurry as if you weren't at your monitor's normal screen resolution, even though you are. Epic fail on this point.

Does not support RAID.

Does not support multiple graphics cards. I'm too cheap to buy two anyway though.

Only supports two regular IDE devices, so make sure your hard drives are SATA.

Other Thoughts: People should eat more cabbage. It's not as nasty as it sounds, you know.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best mATX boards out there

Pros: Supports 8GB RAM, 8-channel built-in HD sound with coaxial S/PDIF, the PCI Express x4 is located far from the x16, allowing for it to be used even with an oversized video card. HUGE plus there.

Cons: No build-in video capable of HDMI-out

Other Thoughts: Superb board. I really have nothing bad to say about it. So far have had zero problem with it.

5 out of 5 eggsBest micro-atx for the money

Pros: I bought this in November of last year and it is still number 1 for price/performance ratio. You could buy the WiFi board, but wherever my PC is, there is a lan cord to go with it.

Cons: Ugly colors. Why not just go with the black/copper like all the flagship boards?

Other Thoughts: D F I is coming out with a crossfire/SLI m-atx board built on the newest chipset. Who knows, it may edge out this board if it's stable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Great board. Droped in an E2160, and overclocked to 3ghz prior to OS install. Tons of USB headers (I think 12) :-)

Cons: Wish the PCIe 4x was above the PCI slots. That way my sound card would have more space under the huge added cooler for the HD4850. Maybe that is just my gripe.

Other Thoughts: Simple to overclock, stable, cheap. What more can you ask for?

5 out of 5 eggsbetter then P5E-VM HDMI

Pros: i get better Temp. on my cpu the i did with my P5E-VM HDMI. loads up games lil faster. this board oc every well i only could get my cpu up to 2.8ghz it wasnt bc temp got hot. cpu was idling 40c with P5E-VM HDMI board. now with P5K-VM my temp on idling 26c. yea WOW! i got this board for my lan box bc has the first PCI-x sloted(the one closest to the cpu and north chipset. the P5E-VM HDMI had 2nd sloted. so couldnt fit bigger video card then 8800GTS(G92). with this board new i can in my thermaltake lanbox. bc the card goes between the cd-rom cage and side hard drive cage for the RaptorX. almost perfect motherboard for the thermaltake lanbox

Cons: needs better onboard sound,... its not BLACK... dont have eSATA but that not mean much to me.. should have bios unclock the CPU Ratio.

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake LANBOX(VF1000BWS) & Tt 650watts psu, intel Q9300 2.5ghz @ 3.Ghz, asus mATX P5K-VM, patriot memory DDR2 800 4x1gigs, XFX GTX 280 XXX Edition, Raptor X 150gb, Vista 64bit
