one great mobo
- Pros: it has a lot of features, a lot. I overclocked processor from 2.4 to 3.2, easy, it also supports nice amount memory and price, iam very happy
- Cons: people report promblem with DDR800 memory, so i went with DDR 667, 2 gigs. doesn't come with built in video.
- Other Thoughts: if it only supported DDR800,and came with video, I would give it a 5 all the way.
Good stable board
- Pros: Small size, that's really it.
- Cons: Haven't seen any.
- Other Thoughts: Why would someone buy a budget board and attempt to overclock, then give a negative review when it wasn't built with overclocking in mind. It's under $100, that should tell you something about it's overclocking poweress.
Try something in the $100-$400 range and you'll find a mobo that overclocks.
- Pros: Small size motherboard was easy to install AND uninstall.
- Cons: Board VERY unstable, even at default speeds and settings.
- Other Thoughts: I got this board for my home server. I managed to get XP Pro SP2 installed but suffered from intermittent BSOD and random self power offs. Would not OC at all with CPU, RAM and video card from my P5B Deluxe that was 100% stable at 3.2GHz. (Components working fine again in deluxe board) After 3 days the system turned itself off while running at default settings and refused to POST. CMOS would not clear. System would power on, fans spin, but no POST. RMA'd for Maximus Formula.
