Pros: Overclocks easily, onboard audio and video support blu-ray playback with DTS-MA and TrueHD through HDMI.
Cons: Catalyst problems as always, but very difficult to solve with Win7. Catalyst software doesn't handle underscan/overscan in current Win7 version (9.10). I had to go back to 9.2 to get the menu with underscan/overscan correction, then update drivers only via windows update.
Other Thoughts: If you are attempting HTPC, install the Realtek ATI HDMI drivers from realtek.tw, otherwise you won't get uncompressed PCM to your receiver - you'll just get static. You will also need to adjust the sound hardware from control panel so that the boxes for DTS etc are checked, and formats like 192/24 are enabled.
If you have found and used the overscan correction tool in catalyst, and still can't see the outer part of your desktop, set your HDTV's scan mode to "Real" or "Direct" or "True" or whatever the direct pixel addressing mode is called in your choices. If you can't find this mode, switch to some other hdmi source like your cable box, and set the tv there, and then come back to your TV. It should stick if you do that. This was a real headbanger for me.

Pros: cheap combo deal
Cons: audio not working, MS's fault. "some" high tech think the audio is not working. one egg off due to audio problem
Other Thoughts: For people who cannot make their audio work, google is ur friend. Here is the solution for audio: 1. run->regedit->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows->find CSDVersion Key Legend: 100 means sp1 200 means sp2 300 means sp3 change CSDVersion from 300 to 200 2. download kb888111 from cnet.com and install it. 3. change CSDVersion from 200 back to 300 4. install the audio driver. Here u go!!

Pros: Priced as a combo deal, had all the features I wanted. 6 sata drives, a bunch of USB drives, built in graphics, and expandable ram.
Cons: Like many mine arrived DOA. Nothing is worse than when you hook something up and power it on it doesn't work. At first I thought it was my case power switch, so I reversed the connection, and that did nothing. Reset CMOS: no change . Unplugged everything: no change. Took out RAM: no change AND no beeps. Reconnected case speaker the opposit way (which one is ground? Purple or white?): no change.
Green light is on, but no one ishome on this board.
Other Thoughts: Called ASUS Monday around lunchtime. Since this is a home PC, I just called their tech support to get some ideas. Their #1 idea was to take out the ram and see if it beeps. Went home, did that, and, as noted, it did not. So, I called them again at 7pm west coast time (they close at 9pm west coast time) and a guy gets on asking for my name and number so they can call back. Now it's 11am the next day, and no call back yet.
So, it's now RMA'd for a replacement. I'm not optimistic that one will be any better.

Pros: Price was right no problem installing board in case all went well. This was a change out from my old M2N32-SLI. Have vista 64 os +suse 11.2 after updating bois from asus started up no problems up dated drivers for chipset had to get new key for vista 64 it was free, Also has asus express gate program onboard grate idea, along with asus ez flash. cpu fan amd oem cpu:amd phenom x4 9850 125 wats Memory:Geil GB4GB6400C5dC 4GB Graphics card: asus EN8600 series power supply 850 watts Harddrives:2 ea WD3200AAKS-00VYA0 Sata DVDRW:asus DRW-2014L1T SATA
Cons: ASUS PROBE 2 V1.04.81 has bugs in the softwear the monitoring panel scheme (top, bottom right and left) depending were you ask it to place panel it will not display on screen selected monitoring cpu,mb,or fan sp
Other Thoughts: Newegg has been grate to work with been very lucky not had any doa's from them everything worked grate i plan on doing more Business with them because i make my living on with the computers i have as HVAC Duct designer I'm not a Gamer but need graphics and power for what i do. than you newegg

Pros: Onboard video is capable of playing Blu-ray connected via HDMI to my LCD tv.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Very solid MB purchased in combo from newegg to build an HTPC. Board does everything it claims to in is specs.
