5 out of 5 eggs5 years and counting

Pros: i have played video games extensively using this mobo for 5 years now and have never experienced a blue screen. It is extremely easy to use and i love it.

Cons: no cons.

Other Thoughts: if it was still being manufactured i would recommend it but as it is old technology now you can get better for the same price and have equal quality.

Cons: Gets buggy over time - lack of PCI-E - drivers that come with it have many conflicts

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bluetooth and a decent gaming board for its time

Cons: I had to send it back to Asus a total of THREE times. Twice the first go around because they didn't fix anything and a third time just recently because the BIOS blew again.

Other Thoughts: Decent board.... when the BIOS isn't blown

3 out of 5 eggsCertain Issues

Pros: Board has a great bios, great for OC'ing as far as I have (4.5GHz 2500k)

Cons: My top PCI Express x1 slots will not recognize my Asus wireless card, yet the bottom will. Also, it seems my asus xonar sound card only works on some of my PCI slots, not all of them. Very unhappy with these issues, and am considering buying a different brand next time. Would RMA, but need my mobo because its the only one I have. Very unhappy with that as well.

Other Thoughts: Asus is usually great, unhappy with this line of mobo's, will not recommend without better service.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked good...for a while

Pros: -Easy setup
-Bios software is nice
-Cool colors

Cons: -Buggy
-Board flexes ALOT
-Board does not hold over clock settings at all
-Reboots multiple times on startup occasionally (not a power issue, 800W gold certified PSU with only 1 video card xfsx 6950 2gb)

*Very disappointed with ASUS at the moment. I'd like a replacement board but I'd have to send in mine without getting one shipped out to me before hand and then wait 2-3 weeks for them to only tell me its bad or some other. They tried to do that to me with an Asus 22" VW224U monitor that has buzzing/beeping issues.

They need to be sending you out a replacement before even wasting time on other stuff.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None

Cons: DOA

Other Thoughts: Dead on arrival. I've been buying ASUS for almost 15 years (and paying a premium price, mind you!) so I don't have these problems. Will happily review working product if the RMA actually gets me one, but I'm losing faith in ASUS seeing the failure rates of their newer products.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Had all the features I nee on it. Love the side SATA ports, def cleans up well. Looks great! And has the new BIOS style which up until today, never really looked into too much, but have it overclocked to 4.6 Ghz stable with an i5 2500K processor!

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: After owning and building many computers, I cant find a better rock solid board than ASUS. Very glad with my purchase. Actually my very first build was an Asus

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as it should

Pros: Easy install. EUFI bios is great. What more can be said about a product that does its job

Cons: None to speak of. Perhaps a second USB 3.0 header would have been nice.

Other Thoughts: Would certainly buy again. Asus makes a nice looking and competitive board. I would likely buy a model further up the heirarchy, the deluxe edition perhaps.
