What is the maximum supported speed for the ram? i am planning to buy a 2666mhz one.

According the the Asus website for this board the maximum "Supported' is 2400.

I'd suggest going to the website for this board and perusing the Memory QVL's as it appears Asus is very active in updating them, what with the most recent dated Nov 11 2013.

Still, they only list up to 2400. If you know the specific memory you want I'd suggest going to the memory manufacturers website and look for either a Tech Support link or an active forum to ask in concerning 2666 compatibility.

Is this motherboard compatible with any AMD CPU with FM2 socket?

Yes. But some FM2 CPUs have video built into them and certain motherboards can exploit that capability. If you buy a CPU that has video built in and your motherboard does not support it then you wasted some money.
