3 out of 5 eggsGood Board

Pros: Good board, easy to install, space for install was adequate for a compact board.

Cons: First MB ordered worked until I was to deliver the computer and then it would not work (multiple beeps). Order a new board and processor and it worked fine. It was either the board or CPU to be fair.

Other Thoughts: Nice price, good board for 95% of users.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget buy

Pros: This board has great bios, dual arch ram, great bus, and nice room for a good video card. Recommended buy for budget comps.

Cons: The only real thing wrong is more of a nit-pick really. The holes for the heat sink a little off so you really have to work it to get the plastic pins in.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Awesome board. Plenty of SATA ports and 2 IDE/PATA ports. Great for expandibility. I used a core 2 duo wolfdale and 4 gigs of RAM and my rig flies.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsStill runs great after 18 months

Pros: Stable, reliable, outstanding performance. Gaming performance rivals big-name boards costing up to $150 or so, yet this G31T-M costs less than $50.

Cons: Small size of board makes placement of certain components less than ideal. Old standard IDE connector is located so your IDE cables will barely reach. Standard cable reached 1 drive OK, but not a second drive. Got a longer IDE cable for $3 and that reached both drives.
Also, if you install a huge, double-wide video card it will cover up 2 of the 4 SATA connectors. You can use a right-angle SATA connector and your wide video card will rest on top of it with no apparent problems. A full-size board would be better for use with big video cards, obviously.

Other Thoughts: This ECS board has met my expectations. I wanted a cheap motherboard to run an Intel e6750 chip at stock speed and provide gaming performance that would equal more expensive boards. The board has remained stable now for 18 months now with no glitches.
If you want to overclock, spend more on a motherboard designed with overclocking in mind.

4 out of 5 eggsA great budget motherboard

Pros: This works great. No problems so far with either Windows or Ubuntu Linux.

Cons: 100mbit network card is kinda lame, also PCI-E 1x slot is unavailable if you use a 2x high video card.

Other Thoughts: It works, it's cheap, great buy for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Build

Pros: Great versatile board at a bargain price. I've built several systems based on this board using a variety of Core2Duo processors and have been very satisfied with their performance.

Cons: There is no digital video output and the Ethernet is 10/100 only. Seems to be a bit picky with RAM. OCZ Platinum PC2-6400 OCZ2P800R22GK did not POST even though it should have been compatible. Crucial PC2-8500 256MX64DDR2 worked perfectly.

3 out of 5 eggsLittle slow

Pros: Workes Well, perfectly fits in Item#:N82E16811121071 enclosure.

Cons: Was little slow in reading the DVD drive.

Other Thoughts: Adding a SD card reader slot in front would be of great help.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA...Valuable lesson to be learned

Pros: N/A

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Purchased on April 10, 2009...and I am just getting around to installing it now. Of course it is DOA. The lesson...test to make sure you items work before the return period is over!!!! Had I tested the motherboard earlier Newegg would have replaced it. Now I have to go directly to ECS to RMA. What was my new motherboard will now be my refurbished motherboard when sent back to me. I don't mind some refurbished items just not when I am paying retail prices!
