4 out of 5 eggsGood board

Pros: Its cheap, It has onboard audio and video.

Cons: The board is kinda flimsy, but its not like your going to be sitting on the thing. Not really a con, just an observation

Other Thoughts: A guy I work with's father wanted to replace an old computer he had and I told him I could build him one for half of what he could buy a new one for since he wasn't real worried about speed (he's 72). With the board having audio and video built in it was easy to build a cheap computer that gets the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsEmachines upgrade

Pros: Basic board. Supports 1333 Fsb...Can handle 4gigs of ram (not listed under specs). Will replace Gateway and Emachine oem Ecs board under Vista without having to reactivate.

Cons: Doesn't support anything higher than 667mhz ram. Doesn't support Quad core cpu's. No real Overclocking settings in bios (with most recent update).

Other Thoughts: If you need to replace that ecs 945gct-m3 in your gateway or emachine so you can install a faster cpu or more ram, than this board will work without any problems. If you're looking to build a system from ground up.........look for a board that can support ddr3 and can also support the newer quad cores.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Terrific little board. Drop in replacement for the multitude of old emachines I have with blown mobo's. Is it a high performance board? Of course not, but for the money it's a great choice for reviving dead systems or building generic workstations.

Cons: None really.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst build.

Pros: It's pretty stable. Runs my Intel Celeron D at a stock clock of 3.2 GHz very well. I used this motherboard to rebuild my mom's 6-year old eMachines computer and only have it serve her basic needs (e.g.: Web Browsing, E-mail, pictures, etc.) and it seems to be fast enough for the job.

Cons: This probably could be fixed but when I tell Windows XP to switch to Stand By mode, it shuts off completely instead. For now it's not much of a bother ...

Other Thoughts: I tried out Windows 7 Beta with this motherboard and the processor I mentioned above and I was surprised that it actually ran pretty smoothly.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Board, NO OC

Pros: Great board, haven't had any issues, worked well with a pentium 4, and now a core 2 duo. Has plenty of USB, SATA ports inside, Great Bang for the buck. Drivers were easy to install

Cons: Can't OC, the settings in the BIOS will not allow it (you can adjust FSB with secondary programs). Also, if you still use IDE, this is not the board for you, with only 1 IDE slot.

Other Thoughts: E6420 core2duo, 2600 HD XT, 2 gigs 667 ram, 160 gb 7200rpm hrd, 300 watt ps

4 out of 5 eggsStable as steel!

Pros: Board is well layed out and small. Fit right in and has good bios options! Very stable for the price! Also it has onboard video though I didnt use it!

Cons: The Front PWS and RSW pins on the board are not color coated! Would have been nice rather then getting confused board to board!

Other Thoughts: Installed 2gb of ddr2 667 and an E2180 and a 7300LE works great!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Installed easy and works just fine.

Cons: None about this board. I was trying to find a board with the 946 chipset and had to settle for this 945.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: OK board for the economy price

Cons: If you need support after its died forget about it. Been waiting 20+ days for them to simply issue RMA as the USB ports no longer work at all.

Other Thoughts: As some others have posted here, tech support is nearly nonexistent, and what little is there is very slow.
