Pros: Fast and reliable. Great value.

Cons: Layout is somewhat counter-intuitive, but manageable. Bulky mounting bracket for the CPU. Still, it's worth the buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Made a very nice budget gamer with this as a base. Athlon 64 4000+ retail, 2Gb of Adata ram, Biostar 8600 GTS, 160Gb Excelstor SataII, In-Win case. Initially going to just build a backup because I gave away my old spare, but these prices were too good to pass up. Newegg is THEE source.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The lack of dual core doesn't bother me. It plays Crysis at 40 FPS 1024x768, medium.

4 out of 5 eggsBAD IDE SLOT

Pros: according to the tech guy hired to diagnose my mystery "Now loading windows.... System Reboot" or "System_initialization_error3" problem, he says that the board looks and performs great... once you get it booted... (Which someday I really hope to see this board in action.) however, see cons

Cons: Since I don't have a SATA CD/DVD and HDD, I can't boot or use the CD/DVD or HDD! The original and a NewEgg exchanged second version of this board BOTH have/had bad IDE slot... Therefore, I'm out $90 in tech fees, sending the MoBo to BioStar, and can't use my nifty computer for awhile longer. (~goes through net-gaming withdrawal~!)

Other Thoughts: This MoBo, Windows XP Home, Athlon 64x2 6400 black, 2 gig ocz platinum series ram, 120G Seagate Barracuda HDD (last year's upgrade), artic cool heat sink and main case fan, secondary neon fans in case, 600W power supply, Unknown CD/DVD rom came from friend's spare parts. Plans to get stand-alone Video next quarter bonus, if I can get the mobo to work! Upgraded from Pentium 4 1.6 GH, Soyo MoBo, 512 ram, radeon 5600 (upgrade 2 yrs ago).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget board

Pros: AM2, HDMI, OC's cool like no other. With a bios update it will allow overclocking of the onboard video (not like you should be using it anyway. mated to a brisby 4000+ @ 3.2Ghz, gskill cas 5, a 9600gt runs anything i throw at it flawlessly.

Cons: Front panel audio header is confusing. No SLI, WHAT? a floppy needed to flash bios? ram voltage only adjustabe to 2.1v

Other Thoughts: Way to go biostar.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat MB

Pros: Bought this for a HTPC setup. It's been great, stable, and no driver issues with Vista. Integrated graphics fast enough for most tasks other than 3D gaming. Power and reset switches on motherboard are great for testing setup.

Cons: Unlatching the PCI-express 16 card is difficult - hard to reach and no instructions in the manual on how to move the clip. Had video card installed for a couple months and by the time it came to remove it, forgot the way the locking clip worked.

Other Thoughts: Would have preferred S/PDIF audio connector on the back panel but internal connector was fine for me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: I am running 4gb memory and an AM2 dual core 4200+. I am playing Crysis on high with a radeon ati 2600 pro 512 mB graphics card.
The game runs smooth at 20-25FPS.

Cons: None really, I had seen someone complain that ati was hard to configure on this MBO, however, I had no probs.

Other Thoughts: I really like the compact size.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Board

Pros: The board is awesome, a lot of nice powertoys that came on the CD. Onboard video is phenomenal! Crystal clear picture with my 51" dlp.

Cons: The driver CD did not auto recognize the board, had to manually install the drivers. XP drivers are on CD, runnin XP MCE. Also, some of the drivers said they were not signed for XP. Weird considering the file names are XP, but they worked

Other Thoughts: Excellent board, will be buying more. Fits perfectly in ATF Flex case, excellent onboard video, especially considering that it is very hard to find a good video card capable of fitting in atx flex case.

5 out of 5 eggsOverall Great

Pros: I bought this board in an open box sale here at Newegg. It has worked great since I bought it.

Cons: As with any open box you are not guarnteed any of the extras. The board I got did not have anything with it (including the I/O shield). I was prepaired for not getting the drivers by downloading them in advance, but was supprised by the lack of an I/O shield. I contacted Biostar and they have shipped me an I/O shield.

Other Thoughts: Biostar TF7050-M2, 5000+ BE OC to 3.1GHz (15.5*200), 2GB (2X1) AData DDR2/800 Ram, XFX GeForce 8600 GT - 512Meg, 2- Seagate 320 SATA, 2- BenQ 16X DVD+R, CoolerMaster eXtreme 500W P/S, Generic Case

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well for HTPC

Pros: No major problems setting up. I'd read some old posts about driver problems, but Biostar has updates that work great. The integrated graphics are great for standard video and I've read is hit-miss on HD, but I'm not there yet. Can always put in a card at that point if needed.

Cons: You can work the HDMI/DVI and S-Video simultaneously, but not the VGA and S-Video. The audio driver software is a little annoying, but all in all not bad.
