4 out of 5 eggsWasn't sure this was gonna work out, but...

Pros: Nice layout. This board has plenty of slots and performance features. Everything works as advertised.
However...

Cons: ... it wasn't always so. I initially set this up Windows XP 32 bit and an older IDE HDD and thought I had a bad board. There were all sorts of problems... not stable... T Power wouldn't load up correctly... other functions/programs either wouldn't load up or would crash the system. Since then I finally got the Vista 64 I planned on using, everything is now working as it should.
The diagnostic lights are REALLY bright! Also they are either on or off... would have been nice if they changed colors(green to red) when a fault occurred.
Would like to have seen an HDMI output instead of the DVI.
No optional fan kit for heat pipe assembly available.
Wished "NTune" was available for this board.

Other Thoughts: I bought this from another vendor because at the time, Newegg had "deactivated" this item and I wasn't sure it was ever going to be available again. I gave it 4 eggs simply because I did eventually get it to work as I wanted and it is a kickin board when it is working. I was really surprised that I had the difficulty I did with the XP 32 setup. Using the Vista 64 it is working like a champ. This is the second Biostar board I've owned and the third I've worked on and all have given me exceptional performance(although this one was more work). I will certainly be willing to try this company in the future. My last board achieved a 21% overclock with an AMD 64 4000+ and this board is (so far) at 10% with an AMD 64 X2 6000(89w)

Biostar N750 T Power SLI, AMD64 X2 6000(89w) OC'd to 3.3Ghz, 4 Gig OCZ Reaper 1066 DDR2 ram, Seagate 500G, 2X 320G sata HDD's, OCZ Modstream 600w power supply, Sigma Windstorm case.

2 out of 5 eggsLAN sucks

Pros: The board works well and there are no problems with my GTX 280 or AMD x4 CPU.

Cons: First board was DOA, not biostar's fault and newegg remedied the situation, second board worked but the onboard LAN will not work if the computer shuts down. on startup bios disables the LAN, at first this was easy to fix but now I cannot even get my desktop online, there is no "enable" option in the bios for the LAN, only "disable" and "auto".

Other Thoughts: I would have given it 5 eggs if the LAN worked properly.

2 out of 5 eggsBuyer Beware

Pros: Overclockers Standard of Excellence. Overvolt Heaven, CPU and FSB overclock plus many other wonderful tweaks

Cons: RAID 0 and 1 limited to ports 5&6 only. the nvidia raid is a joke on this board. only the kast 2 ports support raid 0 and 1. This board is so hong kong hooptie. The bios needs to be updated to support the new amd phenom II. If I were to do this purchase again I would have gone Intel I7. It works but not good for the money.

Other Thoughts: The intel I7 boards blow this one away for only a few dollars more. I think biostar should be taken of the market, poor quality product.

5 out of 5 eggs1 year update

Pros: have had for a full year now, no problems yet. has never overheated and runs sata drives fine, have 2 in slots 4 and 5. has not given me a single problem.

Cons: none after 1 year.

Other Thoughts: have a 8800gt and evo one memory with a large heatpipe cooler, has not overheated once. if yours dose you might need to rethink your overall cooling setup, like add a casefan....

5 out of 5 eggsgreat board

Pros: Everything was a breeze to set up and worked perfectly the first time. The overclocking is so easy any one can do it. There are plenty of expansion slots also.

Cons: It only has one dvi port for the monitor i like to run two monitors and will have to buy a graphics card to do so not a big deal though i wanted to upgrade the graphics card anyways

Other Thoughts: this is my third build and by far the easiest motherboard to put together

5 out of 5 eggsGood motherboard overall

Pros: This is a nice motherboard, lots of features. North bridge stays nice and cool with the heatpipe, nice heatsink on the VRM's. All solid caps manufactured by Nippon Chemi-con (a good capacitor company,) and nice color contrasted connectors against the color of the motherboard.

Cons: Not much.

Other Thoughts: The person who said that a 3d mark score of 25,000 was unacceptable, and that they got a score of 40,000 with a single core, they are just hating this board for some reason. 25,000 is a rediculous score, and I don't believe that they got 40,000 with a single core opteron, mostly because my friend's rig with 3 gtx 260's and a Q9300 got 24,000.

3 out of 5 eggsOverall Descent

Pros: Decent board, good cooling.

Cons: Really large. If my tower wasn't a monster I don't think it'd have fit. Everytime I manually overclock I get the blue screen of death.

Other Thoughts: It's fine for now, but I won't buy it again, probably won't buy another Biostar board again...

5 out of 5 eggsWhat a board, WOW, "Biostar has come a long way"

Pros: This is a great board, over-clocking is a breeze, listen, if you can't get this board to run, you don't know what your dong

Cons: I haven't had any yet, thou I have not tried the onboard video, my system scores a straight 5.9 on Windows Vista scale, with 2 gig of Corsair 800 mHz mem, Biostar 9600 GT w/512GB, Western Digital 640sata Drive w/32 meg Black Edition Drive, and a AMD Phenom 9600 Agena 2.3GHz CPU,

Other Thoughts: None Really, besides WOW Biostar, WTG

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from this board

Pros: Hybrid SLI and Graphics card is not ovetop SATA ports.

Cons: Crashes after 5 to 45 seconds. Have to wait in BIOS several minutes before booting or will crash. Analog audio in Linux is terrible with loud "popping" sounds and distortion. All audio in Windows is fine. Shutdown in windows will sometimes cause a crash, restart always does.

Recently started crashing after several hours use.

Other Thoughts: Linux wont crash as fast. Digital audio in Linux works every few boots and volume is not adjustable.
