5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great board for the price easy to overclock very stable board up and running in a hour stayed running for 2 days no problems at all, thinking about maybe getting another one just to have a spare laying around.

Cons: kind of a thin board but not a problem could use some more ram slots and sata ports

5 out of 5 eggsNice Board

Pros: Overclocked my e6800 to 4.01GHz with +.1 FSB-v, +.2 Memory-v
Stable as a rock, ran Prime95 for a good 6 hours with no errors

only 4GB of memory is not an issue, not like most cheap builders need more than 4

Great BIOS options for overclocking, not the very best though

Overall wonderful board

Cons: Didn't tell me my first set of RAM was DOA??

Other Thoughts: Amazing board for the price, BIOS is incredibly detailed compared to other board ~$60

5 out of 5 eggsGood board for the price!

Pros: Board works quite well for it's price.
A q6600 processor overclocked to 2.9GHZ with a Thermaltake clpo497 cooler (12 bucks) is on it.
All other parts were takeoffs from other machines.
I am impressed with this board and have put biostar on my list of potential future mobo purchases because of this board.
Windows bios update utility works well, but best overclock from the bios instead of the oc utility.

Cons: An extremely minor inconvenience, but if you run win7x64, throw out the disk that came with it and get the extra software from the Biostar website. Win7 finds and loads the hardware, so no problem there.
Am using a pciex16 video card, so the onboard video has not been tested other than initial startup and os load.

Other Thoughts: This board is a very good value.
I am happy that I chose this board for a project.

1 out of 5 eggsGARBAGE

Pros: plenty of slots to plug in whatever you want, nice copper heatsinks, sometimes i dont get blue screen errors

Cons: biostar customer service is terrible; have fun getting run in circles between their answering machines not picking up and redirecting you, and if you're lucky you may eventually get someone on the other end speaking a lauguage other than english.

Other Thoughts: this opinion applies to all biostar motherboards and related products, but my personal experience is with the tp45hp

5 out of 5 eggsStable Low cost MB

Pros: I bought this Motherboard to build a fast, cheap dual core system, as a replacement for an old computer of mine that died. I salvaged parts from the old computer and (4gigs of RAM, 500GB HD, DVD Burner) added an E7400 (2.8 MHZ dual core) CPU and a new case. Put the system together in under 2 hours, turned it on and it ran flawlessly. So far system has been stable and runs reasonably fast. I have been using the built in video and audio.

Cons: If you want to run more video intensive applications you need to add a video card. I would not recommend overclocking.

4 out of 5 eggssolid low end intel mb

Pros: Stable w/good layout, supports quad cores. Good separation of pcie graphics slot and pci slots, even if you have a large vid card you can still use all 3pci slots. supports 1066 memory.

Cons: only 2 memory slots. only supports 4gb of memory.

Other Thoughts: Biostar is making good entry level boards.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid

Pros: wao what can I say put it in the case conect everything and boot up right away not issues at all. I'm using this as a media center.

Cons: it does not suppor more than 4 gigs? not a con. for me a media center does not need more than that. Anyway right now Xp or Vista don't really take adventage of 4 gb unless you are running them in the 64bit version.

Other Thoughts: For the money this is great

4 out of 5 eggsIf CHEAP is your #1 concern...

Pros: Cheap, easy to install

Cons: doesn't support SLI, or 8 gigs of RAM

Other Thoughts: It was cheap, and a great deal at the time. But it's not very flexible/expandible

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Low Budget Board!

Pros: Cheap, ROCK SOLID, reliable, NOT A MSI Problem Child Board!

Cons: No SLI, only 2 ram slots, no sound and doesn't like to OC

Other Thoughts: If you want a board that is SOLID and cheap get this one!

4 out of 5 eggsNice Board

Pros: PRICE! Easy set up, everything laid out nicely. Hooked it up came right on with no hiccups. Seems like a very stable board, for the price you cant beat it.

Cons: Very flimsey board, I thought i was going to break it trying to put in the CPU. I got it in but the board is warped where the cpu socket is now. One of the thinnest boards I have seen. But no big deal, just be carefull! 4 egg rating because of that or it would be a 5!

Other Thoughts: Overall a great board, It has been running over 3 weeks now with no problems what so ever. It comes with everything you need, the drivers install very easy. I am running XP With A Intel DUO 3.0 Ghz CPU, 4 GiG G-Skill 1066 Ram, Geforce 8800GTX. NICE BOARD!!
