4 out of 5 eggsSimple to set up

Pros: I've set up a couple of boards before, this one was unusually easy to set up, though some things (like the Sysfan port) were a little oddly placed, most things were pretty logical. No problems, started up like a charm.

Cons: System fan port and a couple of other ports were slightly awkward in their placement, so some wires crisscross the board, no biggie, but slightly inefficient.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected

Pros: Actually really good for a 60$ board. I was a little sceptical since the price was so low, yet it offered so many features. Turns out, nothing's wrong with it.

Cons: The manual is written in very poor English, but nobody reads the manual anyway...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat motherboard for price

Pros: Sata 6gb/s ports
Lots of room for expansion with PCi slots
Looks great in my opinion. I like the colors and organization
4 slots for DDR3 RAM

Cons: No USB 3.0
Only VGA video port, but I have a graphics card with DVI and HDMI

Other Thoughts: While I can't list many pros or cons, I can say that this is a great motherboard, especially for the cheap price. The cons don't really deserve a loss in an egg but it'd be nice if they were added in. For the price however it can be justified

5 out of 5 eggslocked in bios after unlocking cores

Pros: If you've tried unlocking and PC freezes continually, flip your PSU switch, pwr on to drain power still in mobo, then 'perhaps', remove coin-battery. Flip PSU switch, power-on, flip switch again after (cutting power). Power-on, once more, to drain any power on mobo. Replace battery, flip PSU on, power on, enter bios to correct time, make ajustments. Remember not to "try and unlock" (hit the fisrt, umm, 6, err 8 "F" keys?) the cores again. ;)

Cons: Response to aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa stating about lock-up after bios. You've unlocked unstable core and that's what possibly is preventing your O/S to load. :(

4 out of 5 eggsGood generic board

Pros: For how much it costs, this board has just about all of today's modern features that one would need; mainly the 6.0Gb/s Sata. There's no big frills with this board or fancy heat sinks. It does what I want it to, work!

Cons: The booklet documentation. Basically, it sucks.
I've been a long time Asus user with a couple other brands mixed in, but Biostar takes the cake with vague documentation and covering the specifics about their motherboards.
One feature I used was Raid0 for my 6Gb/s HDDs. Raid, simple enough to configure, right? The booklet doesn't cover this. You have to figure it out yourself. I used google to look up the SB chipset and use an ASRock PDF to set my raid up. WTG Biostar!

Another Con, couldn't get Bio-Unlocking to work for my Rana 450 Tripple Core processor. Bios unlocked it (btw this isn't covered in the Manual as well) and would see the 4th core, but when it came to install windows 7 64bit ultimate, it puked and blue screened. You have to reset bios and try again. It puked on me when trying to install Windows, I would reset the Bios, install windows, and then try unlocking again, it would Bluescreen again. For me, windows didn't like something about the core being unloc

Other Thoughts: Still working and wasn't DOA. Thumbs up to that as this was my Christmas build.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Board

Pros: Overall its a good board. Core unlocking is very easy (push one button, i did it by accident LOL). Excellent price, looks nice, pretty easy to figure out.

Cons: Sometimes gets stuck in BIOS, but I'm not sure if that is because of the mobo or something else related to the computer. All of my other parts are fine so I'm thinking it could be a driver issue. What happens is it goes through the normal startup check, gets past the memory done part, and freezes. Only some of the time, and turning it on and off a few times fixes it. I didn't deduct the egg for that. Just for no USB3. But that's not even a huge deal.
