1 out of 5 eggsPoor quality, poor service

Pros: Powered on

Cons: Came to me directly from the manufacturer as a tested refurb.

Board had cosmetic issues and a defective memory slot.

Other Thoughts: I have seen better...
Just by looking at some soldering joints and PCB quality
you can tell that QA is not their strong-suit,
not to mention lax testing for refurb. items.
Hey, if you look around, originally, these were not even that cheap.

First and last time I am buying a Jetway product.
I am out shipping and time, doing their job diagnosing the board.

1 out of 5 eggsdefective, poor quality control

Pros: none

Cons: 1 of the heatsink's screws isn't properly threaded and won't go in. Top SODIMM slot died after several hours and no longer works. IDE slot is laptop 40-pin instead of desktop 44-pin and with laptop 2.5" IDE drive installed, Windows 7 setup will not start. Hard to cross-ship RMA because of limited refund policy.

5 out of 5 eggsJust Add Busted Laptop, .......

Pros: I was able to take a core 2 duo t6400 CPU, 4GB ddr2 RAM, 320GB HDD, and 802.11n Wi-Fi from an acer aspire 6930, and a DVD Burner I had sitting around, and put it in a new apex case item N82E16811154091 , loaded a spare vista 64. and Voila, a PC.
It comes with it's own low profile copper cpu fan. it is literally shorter than the back panel connections.
First boot worked great on my pana tv through hdmi.

Cons: Zip Zero, if you're not Stingy with Dinero.

Other Thoughts: One of the ram slots in on the bottom of the board, and the SO-DIMM touches the bottom of the case. That means if you ever need to service the RAM, then you have to dismount the board.

1 out of 5 eggsCOM ports disappear when resuming from S3 sleep

Pros: Hmmmm

Cons: Frequently when resuming from S3 sleep, the serial/COM ports are not detected (not shown at all in Device Manager), and only come back after a reboot. This makes this motherboard useless for car PCs with a GPS attached via COM port. (S1 sleep state has other worse problems.)

Cons: won't come on, no beeps, cpu fan won't come on, green light is on, but nothing. green light but nothing else.

Other Thoughts: customer waiting on this build, supposed to be ready for monday, nice way to lose a customer

4 out of 5 eggsPoor CPU Fan

Pros: Has almost every video output you could want. Very fast and supports a wide variety of mobile processors.

Cons: Poor memory support (for over 2GB), and the screws that secure the fans are made of way - they strip extreamly easy. Retarted 10in SATA cable (remember it's an ITX case!)

Other Thoughts: Would buy again; however suggest manf upgrade quality of metal used in the screws to hold fans.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Video Output

Pros: I bought this because I liked the prospect of having a low power consumption Core 2 Duo in a mini-ITX form. The specifications of the laptop are great -- built in HDMI output, up to 4GB RAM, etc. Solid board, on paper.

Cons: No video output. I'm not going to give it one star, because I hope to get a working board from the manufacturer. It's not fair to fault a product which probably just got banged up in the back of the UPS truck...

3 out of 5 eggsGood for being small & using old laptop parts

Pros: Its small and I was able to build the system using parts from a Dell Inspiron 1525

Intel Pentium Dual Core T3200 @ 2.0 1MB Cache
3 GBs DDR2 SO-DIMM - 667? (Maybe running @533)
160 Gigabyte WD Scorpio Black Laptop HDD SATA2
Samsung Spinmaster 22X DVD/CD R+-W SATA2
Integrated Intel IGAM4500

Cons: The other reviewer says that he was able to stream Hulu in HD with no stutter/sound issues. I did not have the same luck, maybe my older CPU and/or memory could not coupe with the load of High Definition Video Playback, or maybe my mobo was not as "good" as his, but I tried and tried to play hi def HULU & even simply play a DVD (Thin Red Line) and it would always stutter at 1920 x 1080.

Other Thoughts: As this is a micro ITX board it is small and built to be "embedded into industrial equipement, cash machine, etc.

This is not the best solution for an ITX Media Box. For that I have heard great things about the ION from Nvidia, that supports Desktop CPUs, Duals & Quads.

For specialized purposes, this little ITX board might be a absolute miracle - with the right environment & setup it could just get one out of a tight spot. (Literally :)

4 out of 5 eggsJetway NF93

Pros: Multi-featured Mini ITX board with almost every known type of video connector. Has HDMI and HDMI pass through of audio via codec. Has (for my use anyway) standard PCI slot, up to 4 gig of memory, just a nice little board fully packed and featured.

Has great graphics modes. Not certain whether the Realtek ALC888 chipset is all that wonderful but gets the job done.

Cons: Spendy at $200 USD. Processor is still pretty high priced at over $200 USD. Does not have a composite video out but does have S-Video. (Easy to make a converter). Terrible manual and so-so technical support. Tech support answered my simple pre-sales questions and a couple after sales Q's, but on an issue relating to the S/PDIF output, emails have gone unanswered.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this board to build a home theater PC which would be fast enough to stream Flash video and later use a Blue-Ray drive. (The new Atoms just could not show a streamed Flash video and the dual Atoms struggled at lower resoluition but at high res dual core Atoms didn't work at all. Had a dual core atom worked I could have saved a few hundred dollars). This board at 1080p shows stremaing Flash such as programs from hulu.com, without any problesm and audio comes through the HDMI port so no need for other audio connections.

Had the cost, manual and tech support been better, I would have easily given this board 5 eggs.
