4 out of 5 eggsgood board, little fan control

Pros: - Has everything I need.
- good graphics chipset

Cons: - Limited ability to control cpu fan

Other Thoughts: Bought this for an htpc. I've got an SSD in it to keep it fast, low power, and quiet. But the bios has the fan spinning at 3685 rpm and I can hear it from across the room!

5 out of 5 eggsRedemtion

Pros: Good layout and nice features that you want in a mini-itx

Cons: two previous RMAed boards

Other Thoughts: I just wanted to say that the two RMAed boards that I received work perfectly. I don't know if it's the underside memory that caused my first two failures but with the RMAed boards I put some packing tape on the Case so the memory wasn't in direct contact with the case.
Who knows this could have been shorting out my two failed motherboards. but so far so good.
NewEgg is great as always and out of the I would say 100 systems that I've built this has been the only two failures ever.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Luck

Pros: Configuration and Layout

Cons: One DOA and A second that made it through a windows 7 install then will no longer post.
Sucks because I'm stuck getting replacements because no current ITX boards are PCI and DDR2 so I already have the ram and Tuner cards.

Other Thoughts: Lets hope the third and fourth RMAed boards are better.
Shame that Asus board is out of stock now that's a nice Mini-ITX board I haven't had any problems with those.

4 out of 5 eggsNow operational

Pros: Very stable board. Having no trouble at all with any of the software I'm running, which is more-or-less bone-stock Fedora 14.

Cons: Limited ability to control fan speeds. The bios only gives two options -- automatic and full-speed. The automatic mode seems to set both the case and CPU fans at about 3500 RPM, making a little more noise than what I want for an HTPC. Going to have to look into some way to slow those down manually -- going to have to break out the box of resistors and cut the voltage. Based on system temperatures, 2000 RPM or less would suffice.

Other Thoughts: Extremely compact layout makes it a little awkward to work on, but the layout of the case (hec ITX200B) is superb with everything fitting in nicely and with very little obstruction to airflow.

5 out of 5 eggsarrived

Pros: Tiny, strong chipset and CPU support in a form typically dominated by extreme weakness.

Mini-PCIe!!!!

Able to make a FULLY OPEN SOURCE HTPC with hardware video decoder in the form of a broadcom bcm970015 h264 decoder (requires mini-pcie).

Cons: Would be nice if it had a DP port. The chipset has TONS of PCIe lanes that will be unused, using a few of them for a DP port (PCIEPHY) would be a great idea and would have negligible effect on manufacturing cost.

Other Thoughts: @pigmonkey: DTX form factor is 244x203, which is CONSIDERABLY larger than this board... mini-ITX form factor is 170x170. This board is actually not exactly that (it is not exactly square), but it is very close.

And it would be nice if newegg would warn you when they're sending stuff out from california... From new jersey it takes only a couple of days to deliver and the tracking stats are updated regularly. From california, takes the longest time and tracking stats are VERY scarse. Can't try anything until everything has arrived... if I knew that it would be coming from THERE, I would have bought something similar LOCALLY.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: small board, high performance, with good grahpic card and can use lower power AMD CPU as 45W.

Cons: It will hang when recover from sleep mode. not sure if it is my main board's problem or design problem? hope some one can figure out.

I have try every settings on BIOS, sleep doesn't works in both Windows 7 nor Ubuntu 10.04. sometime it can resume, sometime not, screen just black and halt. even it can be resume, system still will halt at random time.

other than that, no problem so far on continue running.

Other Thoughts: I will blame on Jetway. will not considering this brand next time. Won't spend my time, my money on returning this board.

5 out of 5 eggsA lot of features in so small a Board

Pros: As the previous reviewer remarked, "Great Board"
The design in of common "laptop" memory seemed a good idea and worked well for me.
All the on-board functions worked well and without a hitch
I was happy to discover a Com port header that I hadn't noticed earlier in the specs.
I used a 2-1/2" HD and partitioned it half for Win-XP and half for Win-7 All software installed and worked without a hitch. NO Problems with software at all.
This system has been working 24-7 No Prob.
Since I wasn't interested in overclocking anything, I have had no problems with heating.

Cons: I haven't had this board long enough to find any hardware problems with it so far.

Other Thoughts: The board was installed into a Thermaltake Element Q enclosure and although I expected some real problems with the small size of everything, all went together quite well.
The video system works very well with Autocad and other developmental programs we run in the lab and for test equipment monitoring and control.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: - ITX *cough* DTX form factor
- TONS of BIOS features including:
- Overclocking/underclocking with full voltage spectrum
- Memory timings
- On-board video overclocking/ Sideport memory tweaks
- Full fan control in BIOS (hard to find even on regular boards)
- Best integrated graphics (ATI 4200) currently available
- Supports Phenom II/ Athlon II as well as older AM2+ chips
- High quality caps
- Comes with "heatsink"

Cons: - SO-DIMM DDR2
- NB gets somewhat warm (you may need to underclock video if you have a small case)
- Included heatsink is a little flakey
- Parts in box were loose and not secured

Other Thoughts: All around a quality board. My last board was also a Jetway (ITX), which happened to be DOA - I took a chance and grabbed this one as a replacement. I am using it in a Carputer environment for close to 2 months and haven't seen any troubles yet.
