- Pros: Great motherboard, well written manual, easy to set up, connectors on the motherboard for just about anything you could imagine.
- Cons: For some reason cannot ever get it to do a warm boot, I have a ticket in to ASRock tech support so they can tell me if I knocked something loose.
- Pros: Great options for the price, Crossfire ready, tons of functions in a great package.
- Cons: Could never get it to pass POST. Tried every memory configuration the manual suggested and anything I could think of, still just a black screen. Have tested every other component in a different system so the only thing left is the board - DOA. Will post a second review as soon as I get my replacement.
- Other Thoughts: NEWEGG is making the whole process of exchange very painless. Thank you NewEgg!!!
So far, soooo good!
- Pros: Worked perfectly at 1800mhz and 7-7-7-20. I have pushed two sticks to 6-6-6-20, and have been stable under load for a few days now (temperatures only went up a few degrees Celsius). 6-6-6-20 at 1800mhz! It's what friggin dreams are made of!
- Cons: None at all! Could be free, and the heatsinks certainly don't have to be _that_ tall.
- Other Thoughts: I work as a sysadmin, and have used Cray supercomputers, crazy 16 core xeon systems, and clients cool RAID10 servers... I have never used a system _nearly_ as quick as this:
