2 out of 5 eggsworked for few years then

Pros: It runs my AMD X2 3800 CPU socket 939
It has some modern techs like cool n quiet and super boot

Cons: Seriously horrible drivers provided on CD so skip that and get them from the net if you don't want to see BSOD

after 3 years the Capacitors all popped so I had to replace them

nforce chipset's fa,n like everybody else said it just sucks my brother had to replace it and have a backup already just in case if this one fails too

Other Thoughts: I don't even know why my brother bothered with this mobo especially it had AMD 3000+ so it didn't really worth replacing my gigabyte mobo

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,
We apologize for the inconvenience, you can download the drivers from the below link:

1 out of 5 eggsD.O.A.

Pros: Price

Cons: D.O.A.! Nuff said

Other Thoughts: Figured I'd have a better than 70% chance of getting a good cost effective way of utilizing my old components. Newegg still my prefered source dispite the disapointment (was a christmas gift for upgrade) and no replacement available. Refunded all costs to me.

3 out of 5 eggsThird time is a charm...

Pros: Now that i have it running correctly it runs smooth and stable. Run it with 2 gigs of ram 184 pin, athlon 64 fx-55, geforce 7950gt and it gets 170 fps on the valve test. Not bad at all and cheap!

Cons: The reason my title is "third time is a charm" is because that is how many times i had to reload the bios and windows before i realized that it was the stupid drivers on the CD that comes with the board that were messing me up. It would act fine for about 10 secs and then freeze... Other than that the chipset fan is in an odd spot right under my vid card.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and download the drivers directly from nvidia. DO NOT let my con's outweigh my pro's this is a good board once you get it up and running.

3 out of 5 eggsWorst than Biostar

Pros: This board has many problems not support my 3800X2
2.shows wrong temperatures on venice 3000+
3.very loud chipset fan
4.bad design(see cons)

Cons: I wasnt able to change loud chipset fan, because of chipset position(right below the PCI ex. 16 slot). with othe fans i wasnt able to install video card.

Other Thoughts: Should better listen to my friend and buy an am2 mobo with new processor.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter download your drivers

Pros: Not many people are making 939 MB's now

Cons: Layout of the board puts the chipset fan under my beefy vid card which I imagine can not be good.

Driver CD that was included doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: Someone else already said this which is what clued me in but I want to repeat it... the drivers included on CD will not work for you... you MUST download NForce 4 Ultra drivers directly from NVIDIA to get the network card, audio, etc to work. I could tolerate it if the network card was atleast going but with things the way they are I would have been outta luck if I wasn't an uber geek with several PCs... the network driver is CRUCIAL and should ALWAYS be in the box.

2 out of 5 eggsnot up to par

Cons: poorly designed product that never worked , BUYER BEWARE LOOK AT ALL THE 1,2 AND 3 STAR REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT.

Other Thoughts: i bought a Mach Spees MSNV 939 from the competition and it seems to be an excellent product with similar specs and has a $20 rebate bringing final cost to 49.99 not knocking Newegg as I am a loyal customer , and not slamming foxconn as I have 2 other machines using foxconn boards a socket A and a socket 754 , and they work just fine, wish I could have scored a nice abit or asus 939 board or 2 before they were gone , but ive got a msi and a mach speed that both work for what I do and the price fit my budget.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive, stable, good overclocking capabilities in BIOS.

Cons: Onboard sound (like most) is lacking. Cheapy NB fan looks like it won't last to long.

Other Thoughts: In all, this is a terrific deal for anyone who already has some DDR laying around along with a s939 CPU. I got this MB and the 3600+ X2 here on Newegg for under $100, along with a COOLER MASTER XK8-9ID3A-0L-GP 92mm Rifle CPU Cooler for $6 shipped. Out of the box with a small nudge in CPU voltage it is running 2.5GHz. Terrific ultra-budget overclocker system for basic gaming.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It work's and it pretty fast for an older board.

Cons: Out of the box the board recognized the installed devices, loaded windows but would not recognize the hard drive as a boot device unless I forced it in the BIOS. Cleared cmos and boot tables reloaded windows and loaded CD drivers along with the video card drivers. Locked up within a few minutes. Cleared cmos and boot tables. This time the BIOS recognized the devices correctly and looked OK. Did not load CD drivers, but instead loaded them through the device manager one at a time. The video card is a newer GeForce, loaded the drivers and it again locked up. Recleared and reloaded, with the exception of the drivers for the video, used the old GeForce drivers from windows and it's running fine.

Other Thoughts: This board is a bit touchy. I'm not real pleased with the layout, but I am using an older model case, but I never had any problems with any other board fitting well. I've build systems for the last twenty years and this board has some tricks to it. I almost RMA'ed it but decided I couldn't let a MB kick my... I bought this board for the wifes garage for a music box so high end graphics are not needed. I'm using a newer model PCI video card GeForce Fusion 3D card but running it with older drivers, thus it's not taxing the system and is running fine. Just be aware that out of the box you'll want to clear everything and you'll still have to go into the BIOS to tell it what is really there.

2 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Its a Motherboard

Cons: Everything! I bought it to replace my old motherboard because I bought a Dual Core Processor. So we installed everything and i put in my Graphics card ( Ati 1650) and Guess wat? Want compatible. It is only compatible with 4 cards and there all low end graphics cards! Dont buy this!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Fine

Pros: Cheap.

Cons: It's a 939 socket.

Other Thoughts: Foxconn would not honor the rebate. I followed the directions to the "T" and still haven't recieved a rebate. I didn't lower the Overall rating of the board because of this. It's the companies fault not the board's =D.
