1 out of 5 eggsMany Issues with this mobo

Pros: Cool and quiet works and stable.

Cons: Many many issues with this board, Cant flash the Bios, Danger when trying to overclock and will trash your c: drive, then you must start from scratch :( This board is NOT for overclocking...

Other Thoughts: I gave up on this board and Im running it with the amd 4200 x2 with q&q and its stable, Save yourself the trouble of returning it by avoiding foxcom and going with another brand. No more Foxcom for me ever!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat 4 old 939

Pros: Does everything I need it to do & does it well.. Dual Gigabit NIC, Nforce 4 SLI, USB 2 & Firewire.

Cons: The junky little heat sink @ fan combo on the Northbridge Chipset. Yeah, That got replaced!!

Other Thoughts: I was glad I could still find a half decent replacement for my SLI "Premium" Mobo that died on me a couple weeks ago. this mobo kept me from upgrading EVERYTHING.

4 out of 5 eggsHard to beat for the price, especially when you need a 939 board

Pros: Lots of features, especially for this price. You're not going to find a 939 board with this many features and overclocking capabilities for $60 anywhere. Foxconn even has a recent BIOS update dated 11/14/2007. Make sure you follow the instructions when you update, or it will fail.

Cons: It doesn't overclock as well as my MSI Platinum SLI board it's replaced. Also, the highest HTT bus you can select is 300 MHz. My Opteron 1.8 can only go to 2.4 stable on this board compared to the 2.6 stable I was getting on the MSI board. Reliability is also unknown with the Foxconn brand. I suspect that it will be fine though.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The mother board is nicely laid out, accepted PCIE cards and my old AMD 64+ processor.

Cons: The motherboard would only accept one 512 RAM chip at a time. Once a second was placed in the any other slot, the computer wouldn't boot. I updated the BIOS, but it didn't help. Tech support was nice but not helpful and their documentation was poor....so I gave up!

Other Thoughts: Won't purchase another Foxconn product.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Large feature list. Low price. Even better if you can catch it with a rebate. Fully supported on SUSE Linux 10.2. All hardware gets detected and auto configured. Supports all Socket 939 processors, including Opterons. Duel gigabit Ethernet ports.

Cons: Clear CMOS jumper was enabled from the factory. Would not boot until I figured out what was going on. Uses a small high RPM fan to cool the nForce 4 chip. You'll hear it if the rest of your system is quiet.

Other Thoughts: This board has run a dual core Opteron 170 24/7 for six months with no problems. Have not tried to run Windows on this board.
