Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I have already maxed the memory out to 4 Gb wish it was more and had dual channel instead of single.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: HDMI to LCD TV, and VGA to 22" lcd monitor...out of the box. Don't you love Nvidia? Runs well, even pushes out a few decent games well enough, though not at full resolution obviously. You CANNOT go wrong with this board on a budget. Have to love Newegg

Cons: Runs very, very warm.

Other Thoughts: A supplemental cooling solution for venting a LOT of air out the back of a small case, is a necessity.

4 out of 5 eggsNifty

Pros: It is small, it operates rather well, especially for the money. Does what it is supposed to do, and the software support/BIOS has been spot on.

Cons: It does run a BIT warm obviously, just be sure any small case is well ventilated.

5 out of 5 eggsRunning Ubuntu 8.10

Pros: This is powering my Ubuntu 8.10 system and everything works like a charm, including onboard video and HDMI. Compiz fusion looks great, if you're into that sorta thing (and I am a fan of the wobbly windows). Ubuntu just has you install the proprietary nVidia driver and voila! It works.

Cons: Not enough room for tons of ram. But I'll live with my 4gb.

Other Thoughts: There are few pleasures in life greater than paying next to no money for a motherboard that fulfills all your needs; or there are, and I just need to get a life.

5 out of 5 eggsBeng for the buck

Pros: The size is compact, the design is well though out, the features are plentiful, and the board is rock solid.

Cons: Single channel ram. This will likely come as a bonus for most prospective buyers of this board, as you will spend less on multiple sticks of ram. But still, it has a slight impact on performance.

Other Thoughts: This board is one of the most stable I have ever used. If you are looking for something that you will not have to mess with, look no further.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for my budget build!

Pros: I put this board in my budget gaming system. Booted straight up and haven't had a problem since. This board comes with at least one of the main connectors.

I do wish that the PCIe x1 was where the PCIe x16 was so that a dual slot video card wouldn't of covered up one of the pci slots. The video card is the only card I have though. The pro of this though is that you still have at least one of every slot avalible.

Mobo has 4 SATA ports, which is enough for anyone with a SMF setup. If you're concerned about HDD space, sacrifice your ODs for IDE setup.

Raid, this motherboard is capable of raid setups, which is always a plus.

Cons: There are a few cons that didn't affect me, but may affect others. There are only two fan connectors on the motherboard and one of them has to go to the motherboard, so you're only left with one for the case fans. I had some of the fan to molex converters so this didn't bother me.

This motherboard only has two RAM slots and can only support upto 4GB of memory, but I'm not worried.

Other Thoughts: My budget build specs:
This motherboard
Intel Pentium E2200 Allendale 2.2GHz
Radeon HD4670
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
Western Digital Caviar SE16 320GB
LG 22X DVD±R DVD Burner
Hanns·G 19" LCD
APEVIA X-QBOII Case w/ 500 watt PSU

5 out of 5 eggsTop value and support.

Pros: Price. Foxconn email support. Great value here at about $50 delivered to doorstep with free shipping from NewEgg.

Cons: A little "lightweight" in the look/feel department compared to (more expensive) others but, once installed, who cares. It was inexpensive and worked precisely as advertised.

Other Thoughts: Foxconn e-support was quick, helpfull, and relentless in pursuit of solving a problem that turned out to be not-theirs but a Vista installation quirk. Great support for noobies or semi-geeks like myself. Will use again.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this motherboard!

Pros: -You cant beat the price with the performance you get out of this motherboard.

-nForce 630i chipset

-PCIe x16 (just one) and PCIe x1

-Supports the newer intel 45nm Core2Duo's

-Everything worked right out of the box!

- I was easily able to over clock my E7200 to 3.2GHz on stock air cooling by increasing the bus speed to 1333MHz and keeping the memory at 800MHz. Runs at around 30 celcius idle and at about 45 under load playing the Sims 2 or Spore.

Cons: -Honestly, I have no real cons. The thing just worked so much better then i expected. That said, maybe the only con in my opinion is that it doesn't support dual channel memory, but i really wasn't expecting it to for fifty bucks! The fact that i can so easily overclock with this board blows away that Con anyway.

-This is my only REAL con. No BIOS speaker. It uses the HDD light on the front of the computer case to represent the beeps. pretty stupid in my opinion, but i guess it works...

Other Thoughts: I bought this for when i was building my girlfriends rig for christmas. i had an old ASUS mobo with built in WiFi that didnt work anymore so i replaced it with this. Stupid Asus! Anyway, everything worked perfectly the first time i booted up. Installed the latest chipset drivers from nVidia after installing the driver that came with the disc, then easily installed the latest HD Audio drivers off the FoxConn website. Installed SPORE and SIMS2 and they run perfectly smooth with no audio problems. (Also, im using Crucial BallistX memory, the ones with the tracers. They are pretty BA and super fast! This computer doesnt really need the dual channel, it supports the tight timings of the memory and it uses it pretty effectively)

Buy this board if you want to build a good rig that will last on a budget!
