Great board!
- Pros: Nice package. Came up without any problems, runs cool, and good HDMI output quality
- Cons: None so far
DOA
- Pros: can't claim any.
- Cons: Arrived DOA.
- Other Thoughts: Looked to be a great mobo but it arrived DOA so I will never know. Really hate that it costs money to RMA stuff.
Good Board
- Pros: Good board all around. Not exactly for the "Hardcore Gamer" but for a family PC...works great. Foxconn quality is good..
- Cons: Foxconn support for this board and Win 7 64bit is poor.
Not stable AT ALL with 1066. (WIN 7 BSOD)
User manual included is very vague, has typo's & errors, and is B/W.
- Other Thoughts: If you are looking at this board for use w/ Windows 7 64 bit, you will have to go to Foxconn's slow-@ss site and dowload ALL of the drivers (and manual) from there. All of the drivers and utilities on the disc included are USELESS!!
I tried this board with 8GB of G.Skill DDR2 1066, Q9650 Processor, BIOS all at OE clocks, (I did ramp the DIMM voltage to the G.Skill spec'd 2.1V) and Windows 7 Ultimate 64. It was a locking up, BSOD havin' nightmare... Rolled back to the spec'd DDR2 800 and it is better, but still is not that stable. I think Foxconn dropped the 64bit ball on this one.
Works EXCELLENT under the 32bit platform...notta so good w/ 64bit though..not sure of the reason...but I'm thinking it's driver related.
