5 out of 5 eggsgreat for daily use

Pros: this is a very nice mini board, the graphics are great, actually the first board graphics that ever played my terminator game.but the single memory slot means u need a 2 gb memory module at least..also it only uses 65 watt processors as i tried the newer 45 watt and nada,nothing...but its my daily driver and use it everyday with my little e1400 celeron dual core while my big power hungry gaming computers sit and watch, haha

Cons: its limitations

Other Thoughts: i got it when it was on sale for $35 and free shipping

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Economical (caught it on sale at Newegg). Installed it in an old case with a stick of 2 GB Rendition DDR2 800 (also on sale at Newegg), 65 watt dual core CPU, and a WD 500 GB Blue HD, and an el-cheapo MATX power supply. Only about $150 for the whole thing. Has been running 7X24 for a couple of months so far recording 5 network attached surveillance cameras. Have not had a single lockup of XP nor an unplanned reboot. Will probably buy a couple more if I can catch it on sale again.

Cons: Had to clip a few fins on my CPU heatsink due to it bumping into components on one side. Not really a con though since I bought an oversized fax & heatsink. Just something to look out for.

Other Thoughts: I fail to understand why some people buy a motherboard knowing that it only has one DIMM slot and only supports up to a 65W CPU and then turn around and write a bad review because of those limitations. If you needed more features, you should have bought a motherboard which had those features.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Well

Pros: Very very small. Fits in a standard case and the ITX case I have is a little funky but it works. No problems. Easy install, decent video. Exactly what you would expect for a $40 board.

Cons: Only one RAM socket.

2 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Inexpensive, small.

Cons: The vanilla Intel heatsink partially covered the 4-pn 12v plug it was a tight squeeze. VGA port was dead, it does have a PCI-E slot available for a discrete graphics card tho.

Other Thoughts: This will be the first thing I've had to RMA to Newegg in over 7 years of shopping here. So far Newegg is being very cool about it.

2 out of 5 eggsLAN died after three days

Pros: Cheap, integrated graphics, good value for a quick replacement.

Cons: Only 2 SATA headers, only 1 RAM slot. Connector layout is somewhat inconvenient.

Other Thoughts: Installed Linux Mint in under 10 minutes, all hardware supported right out of the box. Worked great for three days, then lost ethernet connection. No lights on the back of the connector anymore, and switch it was connected to was unable to re-establish connection. Tried brand-new cable, and plugging it directly into to modem, all to no avail...ethernet's just dead. Newegg was AWESOME about getting me an RMA! I'm going to try a different board this time.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Board

Pros: Nice small size will fit in an ITX case (see CONS below, however). Foxconn utilities, as always, work well, and drivers worked the first time (Windows XP/32 home). Surprising to me, there wasn't a BIOS update needed on boot.

It boots quickly, which users always appreciate.

The layout of connectors and components is nice, everything is easy to access and the enormous single-sheet manual lays it all out clearly.

The old case only had a 20 pin PSU connector, and even though the board has a 24 pin, it's happy with just the 20 pins connected.

Cons: As noted by another reviewer, this board won't fit in an ITX case without a special low profile CPU fan. They'd tested the Celeron; I used the Pentium Dual Core which also did not fit under the power supply of the ITX case. I ended up putting it into the old E-Machines case from the dead PC, and it fits and works, so this board is a good option for a budget retrofit/upgrade.

Single memory slot means RAM access is slower. Only two SATA connectors, and not a whole lot of USB connectors in the back, though there is the full 4-connector plug set on the board for the front connections.

Other Thoughts: The board bent a lot under the Intel CPU cooler pins. I haven't see this much bending since the first LGA-775 boards came out. I hope that doesn't mean bad things long term.

5 out of 5 eggsClarification...

Pros: This review is for Jackisback, this board only supports 65w cpu's....they can claim core2quad support because there's a couple 65w core 2 quads like the Q8200s, Q8400s, Q9400s, and Q9505s. Note the ''s'' on the end, which means it's an energy efficient model.

Cons: Only 1 memory slot so no dual channel ram.

This board will not work with MOST core2quads. Again, 65w tdp max supported.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC motherboard.

Pros: Tiny. Everything just worked. Cheap.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Do not pair this with a "Intel Celeron 430 Conroe-L" if you intend on using it with the cooler that comes with the Celeron. There is a capacitor in the way which means you have to break off a piece of the fan shroud and bend some of the heat fins to get it around the cap.

Pros: i got this for a friend cause he fried his other motherboard cause he didnt know what he was doing. i expected a little speed on it.... only a little cause he does nothing but myspace and facebook and yahoo messenger.... but when it came it was amazing, im sorta jealous, but then i remember i have quadzilla so im ok lol.

Cons: odd placement of cpu power

Other Thoughts: pretty good board for price, built his whole rig for under 300
