4 out of 5 eggsDVI-d

Pros: nice board, tiny with lots of features, has run well and has been a good value, especially for the price.

Cons: didn't know it came with a dvi-d port. I tried to hook up 2 vga monitors using 1 vga to dvi adapter. Later I would realize that there are 2 types of dvi and I had the wrong one. Even my cheap knockoff tv has a dvi port that can do digital and analog. seems like a lame place to skimp.

Other Thoughts: Someone else on here commented that it was "unfinished". it was just the wrong dvi. This board has DVI-D only. (digital only) the other dvi cable does analog and digital, and has a longer slot and 4 pronounced pins (hooks) around it.

I will have to buy a video card to accomplish dual vga monitors hence only 4 stars.

1 out of 5 eggsBoard Sucks out loud

Pros: Nice Colors

Cons: Never booted after trying a gazillion CPUs and Memory chips-waited too late to return to Newegg-so I'm stuck with it-garbage bound!

Other Thoughts: 3rd bad Foxxconn--Even the ones made for Acer and HP have turned up bad-I will never buy another Foxxconn

4 out of 5 eggsGood Board, FoxConn Has Excellent customer Service

Pros: Excellent motherboard, extremely good bios and solid system. Been running AMD Phenom II since 2011. Foxconn has great RMA and quick to resolve and replace motherboard.

Cons: Board had failure on system / chip blew out near the USB connectors while running extremely intense applications and multitasking 8GB RAM to the max..

Other Thoughts: Foxconn makes good products for a fair price, I usually buy ASUS but at the time I needed an affordable and powerful solution. Foxconn's Manufacturer Warranty 3 years was sustained immedately and I had a new board within 1 week of failure.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid motherboard

Pros: Good support of PCIe 2.0 x 16 graphics cards, 16 gb of ram, and CPU support. Everything has been working great!

Cons: Would have liked to see a higher amount of supported ram, but 16 gb is good for gaming. A PCIe 3.0 slot would have made it perfect.

1 out of 5 eggsNIC always uninstalls?

Pros: Cheap board. When it works it gets the job done.

Cons: NIC never stays installed. I put this in a rebuild FOR MY BOSS' HOME COMPUTER and needless to say i've ended up on a a really short $4!T list with him. The driver support page on the website never loads and download links never work. and from what i'm seeing of the cut and paste responses here. I'm thinking calling them would be just as bothersome. never buying a product from this company ever again.

Other Thoughts: Just don't buy Foxconn... probably the reason they have CON in the name...

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valuable customer,
First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience. We are working on update the website .It may be unstable .Please contact our support team via link below ,we will upload it to WFT .

1 out of 5 eggsFoxconn support site is wrong

Pros: none since its DOA

Cons: DOA, tried moving the jumper for clearing the cmos to both positions repeatedly and attempted to power on the machine, it wont work.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this in febuary, just got around to opening the box last week, I had seen the cmos issue on the feedback and tried booting the machine with the jumper in both positions, neither one would power up, the rest of my components work fine on my old foxconn board which Ive had in this system since I first built it when AM3 was new. I tried emailing them, no reply, the phone numbers on their website are all coming up as no longer in service, and their RMA page returns nothing but internal server errors. Can't get ahold of them at all, and now its to late to RMA through newegg, so basically Im stuck with a $60 paper weight.
trying to run it with a socket AM3 athlon II X2 245 processor, a 4 gig stick of Corsair XMS ddr3 1333, a Corsair CX500 power supply, and nothing else plugged in, just to see if it would power on, it will not. Also tried it with my phenom x2 and some OCZ pc3 10666 1333 reaper HPC ram, and my diablotek 500w psu, also no response.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valuable customer,

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please setup the board outside the case & the front power switches is connected properly. Also we found that the Clear CMOS jumper in the user manual is not correct. So if you were to follow the jumper settings in the original user manual then it will not post. Attached is the user manual with the correct Clear CMOS jumper setting. Please download it. Also we have uploaded the correct user manual to our website as well.

4 out of 5 eggsbasically working

Pros: It works with my ubuntu10.04 out of box. Nothing special noticed. Maybe it is due to the fact that I simply replace my previous Asus MB with this. The ubuntu already installed all drivers for all hardware?

Cons: My AMD phenom II 6 core CPU seems to be not fully used because only one is running 100%. This happened with my old Asus motherboard before bios updating. After updating bios, my old Asus can correctly load-balancing among 6 cores. So, that is why I guess FoxConn driver maybe not doing the right thing. But it is ok now as I haven't tried to update bios yet.

Other Thoughts: The manual is not very well detailed compared with Asus, but it is cheaper and it is what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Had to replace an HP motherboard and this did the trick..nice BIOS options and OC is great. Windows 7 had a little trouble with the NIC, but all in all very good!

Cons: NIC not installing.. seems a common problem.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good value, but some design flaws

Pros: + HDMI, DVI, VGA on a MicroATX form factor with 4 DIMM slots for DDR3
+ RJ45 with builtin status LEDs
+ RS232 header even in this day and age.

* Excellent user manual translation, it was either written in English to begin with or the translators were profoundly skilled. No Engrish in sight.
* Affordable in comparison to competitors with similiar feature-set.

Cons: - No BIOS/CMOS control for delay SATA/AHCI Host autodetection.
- No attempt to spin up PUIS nodes by the SATA/AHCI Host.
- No jumper pin set or BIOS/CMOS control for switching either the backplane USB ports or USB headers to +5Vsb instead of +5VDC.
- The location of the EPS12V connector renders the board incompatible with certain combinations of chassis and PSU without using an extension or modification.
- The location of the 40-pin 'PATA' header makes it seem like they merely included it as a joke and never expect it to be used.
- There is no eSATA on the primary backplane.
- The location of the SYS_FAN header was poorly chosen.

As a result of issue 2 I have to, at least partially, boot a Linux kernel from a USB Flash to spinup my WD5000AAJS which is not recognized at POST.

Other Thoughts: You don't call a different color SATA header "eSATA" unless a backplane expansion plate is included. It could have been an awesome bonus with two USB ports as well, using an extended plate with a rubberized grip to provide an internal handle.

The EPS12V connecter and SYS_FAN header should have been next to each other and been placed about where the CPU_FAN header is, which could then be moved to where the EPS12V connector is. It being on the edge makes it way too far from the PSU when you have a chassis that mounts the board expansion slots above backplane, very common in mATX oriented designs, and a PSU with short cables which are commonly used in compact midtowers from the big box companies.

The keying of the PATA header makes it so any standard 40/80 wire ribbon would run right into the ATX main cable, a simple solution would be been swapping thier positions so the PATA is closer to the outside.

I do like how all the headers and jumpers are mostly in a nice line. Overall:
