5 out of 5 eggsOptimistic review! Goood Tech!

Pros: Good price! Solid product! Load of features! Future prove! Great overclocker! Overall a great board!

Cons: NON!

Other Thoughts: To all the sweethearts bellow who left negative reviews: If you do not know jack about boards then do not buy them! I am just a user with 6 years of PC building exp. This board has no problems at all! Yes it will show a message that "No drives are present" but in a second later it boots up and works fine. More: I wanted a cheap 1366 board and I got it. I am not an overclocker anymore but I did some twiking on that board with i7 920. RAM was overclocked to 1600 MHZ and CPU to 3 ghz on air. I am sure that the CPU will go to 4 ghz with no problems but I just did not need that.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mother board

Pros: Amount of Sata ports and where they are located. Onboard buttons to power on/off and reset, and a 7 segment display that tells temperature in C not F.

Cons: Would have liked more USB headers. One of the power sockets is in a hard to get area by the cpu.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if it with all or just mine, but if the board looses power, when you turn it on it willl power then shut off then fully power on... that i don't get, unless it's calibrating.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Bother

Pros: NONE

Cons: Pretty much everything else.

Other Thoughts: Recieved this and it was defective right out off the box. Returned it and newegg says its damaged so im just out the money it cost me. I wouldnt buy this. As a matter of fact, I wouldnt buy anything from Newegg at all.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Bought it when it was on rebate for 140.00 and then got $50 back fom EVGA cost me 90 bucks for this awesome motherboard.

This can be used for Server, has two ethernet interfaces tons of Sata ports and on board intel Raid. I am running with i7 950, 12 Gig 1600 MHZ ram, and Zotac GDRR5 GTX 460 and it works amazing

Cons: I very well knew what was I buying - a refurbished board so the cons don't effect the rating. I have noticed following annoyances.

1) Not al;l Drives are recognised in BIOS but do when the system boots up.

2) When computer is started or rebooted, it powers on and then puses (looks like it powers off or wait for enough voltage) and then power on. It gives the impression that computer is shutdown and wont start but after 2 seconds it starts again. I have ThermalTake modular 750 80+ power supply so it is not the powersupply.

Other Thoughts: Go for it and you wont regret it. Make sure RAM are put in proper slots or else it wont boot.

5 out of 5 eggsRuns great

Pros: Works great. Runs smooth as silk.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is my second one. My first one was version 1.0 and this one is version 1.1. The color does not look like the picture as this one has the black and gray color scheme instead of the black and green that my first one has when I bought it when it first came out new.

1 out of 5 eggsIt's Ok

Pros: Works well for the most part.

Cons: If you want to run sli you cant unless you discounect the front USB ports. Mine also has an issue with the memmory not reading right and EVGA techs were useless in trying to remedy the issue. 12gigs and only 8 usable sad. So other than that it works great. Also the heat pipe and fins next to the cpu are tall so I can only use one fan on my coolmaster v6gt.

Other Thoughts: Problems with it dropped it from what could have been a whole 5 eggs to a 1 egg.

Manufacturer Response:

I am sorry to hear your having issues with the board. My name is Matthew and I am one of the assistant product managers at EVGA. Can you please contact me directly so I can work with you on this matter,

1 out of 5 eggsNo luck

Pros: Worked for 3 months.

Cons: Started to smoke at startup three months later. Out of warranty and out of luck. Unfortunately, this is the second EVGA X58 SLI board to quit on me in the last 6 months.

Other Thoughts: Bought this board to replace the same board that I bought through EVGA b-stock. That board died after 3 months. Thought I'd just replace it with this one and keep my Windows installation and apps. I love Newegg and I'm sure I've just been unlucky but I'll be steering clear of EVGA boards for now.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat if it worked

Pros: Great specs on paper, low price for what it offers, board has easy to work with layout. Newegg packaged the board with lots of Styrofoam peanuts so it was well packaged on their part.

Cons: Never worked, dead on arrival.

Other Thoughts: EVGA really needs to examine their refurbishing process. EVGA support responds fast but gave the usual swap parts out and tell us how it goes answer. Most people I know don't have extra I7's sitting around the house. Looking at all the reviews of bad boards it seems this was not an isolated incident with a faulty newly refurbished board.

Be aware this board only qualifies for a same item replacement from Newegg, so I can only hope I get a good board this time around...

1 out of 5 eggsQuality issues!!!

Pros: Looks new, it includes I/O plate and really inexpensive.

Cons: I wish I could give this product 5 stars as I really like EVGA products but it seems they have failed in their "recertified" products.

I have sent mine back due to missing pins, how would you expect it to work if you have missing pins?. How did it passed their quality assurance even they knew there was a hardware problem?. It may or may boot up but it's gonna be a problematic board!.

Other Thoughts: Buying recertified products from EVGA based on my experience is a big gamble. Though it has 90 days warranty it's not worth the hassle.
