Great Card
- Pros: I purchased a cheap new HP Presario and went straight to NEWEGG and fixed it. Now I got a decent gaming rig. ATI driver/software is great. Software says it's running at 50-55 Celcius. I had to get a new PS. I grabbed the super cool epower 520, and some Value RAM. My budget box plays all but the newest games cranked up !!! Tested out the Bioshock demo - flawless. THX NewEgg
- Cons: Card is long. Not a problem for me.
- Other Thoughts: It's not DX 10 but the comparison is only noticable on some textures, like reflections, this card has great framerates for the price. Don't bother with DX10 unless you get the $400-500 model. Games will continue to work in DX 9.0C for a long time, and DX is still changing, - get a x1950 !!!
Great Card
- Pros: This card smokes my old 256 ddr2. Great power for the price range. Quiet little power house.
- Cons: Card is a bit long in the case, but nothing a little re-arranging cant fix.
- Other Thoughts: This card can make just about any game come to life. I doubled my fps on WoW with full effects, and plan to try it out with HL:2 and Fear soon.

Simply Awsome........
- Pros: Very Good Card , will run just about every game you throw at it with respectable frame rates and high resolutions , I would recommend buying two of these for crossfire exellent choice for the gamer....Great overclocking features and decent cooling, can OC to 650 mhz right out of the box with fan speed cranked up to 100% if you can stand the loud noises of the fan,but dont try fooling with the memory because the timings have been tightend ,and will results in hangz and crashes if pushed even 20mghz from factory defaults, respectable card from ATI,and dont worry about DX10 cards ,there is very little difference textures and windows vista isnt ready for gaming anyway as the OS still needs more development and time to grow ....this is a good buy overall if cant give up cash for nvidia's cards..
- Cons: ATI Latest driviers For XP simply suck, as nvidia
has its faults too but when it comes to overall driver stability in XP, Nvidia has the ball it their court, Although Catalyst drivers for vista are rock solid..........
I got 2 of these bad boys
- Pros: 2 of these in crossfire mode are very sweet. I get great FPS in most of the older high end games aka CSS, HL2, WoW, Portal and the list goes on. Single slot makes you take up less space in your cases. Awesome for the bargain price.
- Cons: none.
- Other Thoughts: Make sure to buy 2 ATI bridge connectors if you want to crossfire 2 cards.
Simple Review
- Pros: Quiet after 2 months, Renders game graphics very nicely. Upgraded to Max out The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and with all settings on ultra high still maintaining 30-45 FPS outdoors. Nice price for great gaming.
- Cons: Measure carefully, this card is huge, Those with a midtower may have trouble fitting this. Check your Power supply and ram too as this needs a work horse,
