1 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely horrible experience

Pros: LOOKS nice...

Cons: as stated many times previously, Sapphire does NOT include an 8 pin connector. The manual is brief and not much help. Difficult to get in contact with Sapphire. The box explicitly states that the card will run on a 550 watt power supply. Dont even think about running it that low!

Maybe it's just something new their doing with graphics cards now, but mine did not come in a static proof bag. It was just sitting bare on a bed of foam.

Other Thoughts: Blue screen memory dumps and direct x issues. My card is ridiculously unstable.

If Sapphire seemed to have it together, I would give this card a higher rating. I cant be bitter just because mine was defective. but because I couldnt get in contact with them, and they exhibited no professional characteristics, I have no choice but to give this a 1 star rating. I wouldnt recommend Sapphire for anything.

4 out of 5 eggsWaste of 1GB GDDR4

Pros: Excellent card for the money when compared to the 2900XT 512mb/1gb, not so against the 3870 or the 8800gt. If you have HD TV and plan on CF will trounce GTX.

Cons: The extra 512mb in the 1gb model is useless, in the tests it's not even used and the GDDR4 speeds are not comparable when pitted against the 512mb GDDR3 Pro card which is 45% less than the 1gb Pro.

Other Thoughts: If you r planning to buy now, then get the 2900Pro 512mb, the 3870 is only cooler running, consumes less power, but about equal or maybe 5% faster, Feb 08 the 3870 X2 is coming this is the one to get, quad CF.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet nectar of digital life!

Pros: Fast, gig of ram for big resolutions, quite sexy over all.

Cons: big, pretty warm but you should expect it when your asking this kind of power from a card.

Other Thoughts: The water block for the XT model fits this perfectly.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Great Card, Power hungry though, recommend 950W or Higher. So remember to feed it.

Cons: Had to replace it with a better cooler, Thermalright model is better then OEM model

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: Runs BF2, COD4, CIV4, and every other game I have maxed out. No problems. Cat 7.12 drivers are good and allow the card to OC'ed.

Cons: Power Hog....I guess. But I am running an 800 watt PS on an AMD 6400+ System, Not an Issue.

Other Thoughts: OC'ed to 850 GPU & 1025 memory. No lock ups or issues when running normal speeds or OC'ed. When OC'ed its as fast as the Highend Nvidia Cards at half the price.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy Now

Pros: Dont Own

Cons: Dont Own

Other Thoughts: Buy This gpu now. Get two of them and crossfire them. They used to cost twice as much before the Radeon HD 3000 Series came out and was worth it then. I do not beleive you can get a better GPU for the money.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Price...

Pros: Great card for cheap. Its just an XT(R600) clocked down to lower speeds and can be OC'ed to XT speeds or even flashed to an XT. I highly reccomend it as a high end rig card as its not that bad in price and has a lot of memory for high res textures.

Cons: No Overdrive if you don't have 1 8 pin and 1 6pin PCIe connector. Also there are very few reviews on this card. They only have ones on the 512mb GDDR3 so you can't see the true power of this card.

Other Thoughts: I really want another for CF. I have a 800 watt CPU ready for it and it would help in Crysis although with one I was able to run the demo at 1280x1024 @very high setting(everything of course and /w a Q6600) and it stayed around 32FPS.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat ATi cards, get them while you can!

Pros: They run great in CrossFire mode and play any game flawlessly; I'm using a 1000w PSU to keep them fed for OC. Great cards at a great deal from Newegg, I only wish I bought them here.

Cons: They can run pretty hot. Be sure you can cool them or you WILL have artefacts and and glitches in games. Be prepared to keep this card cool, so I suggest this heatsink: N82E16835109020. It works very well but it's heavy and rather large (make sure you have room).

Other Thoughts: I purchased two of these fine cards, not from here though. I wish I had since the price here is less than half per unit than what I paid. To the reviewer, Forlorn: you weren't cooling your card properly. I recommend a PC case with side ventilation and at least 3x 12cm+ high-CFM fans, if not, use water cooling. This is a suitable case: N82E16811119137.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Card

Pros: Overclocks easy, can be flashed to XT if you wish. DX10. No problems since I bought it in November.

Cons: This card is power hungry and hot if not in a well vented case, but I knew that before I purchased so to me its not a con.

Other Thoughts: As of 12/20/07 7.12 drivers are released and run fine. Power requirements from AMD/ATI are 550 watts for single card and 750 watts for X-Fire. Check website for recommended power supplies.
