4 out of 5 eggsWhat a PITA

Pros: Very nice graphics and speed. Well worth the money once you get it to work right.

Cons: Was almost ready to send it back when I finally stumbled across drivers that appear to work right with Windows XP. You can find them here on the ATI site.

http://tinyurl.com/64yk92

I also had to install Media Player 11 for some video's to work even with K-Lite Codecs.

Other Thoughts: I spent a long time fighting this thing but it's hauling balls now with out any problems so far. It's a fast, cheap card if these drivers hold up. :)

4 out of 5 eggsGood quality card

Pros: Lots of ram and good quality video

Cons: You have to use the drivers from Sapphire's site. This is my second Sapphire card so I'm used to using only their drivers.

1 out of 5 eggsIf you want to test your skills...

Pros: DirectX 10 support for under $80.

Cons: Impossible to make work reliably. Even after uninstalling old drivers using Driver Sweep and installing CD drivers and current online drivers from Sapphire's website, this card gave me stop errors and hard reboots after >30 minutes of gaming. Don't waste your time or your money. Or, if you wanna see for yourself, check Sapphire support forums...the thread for this card is 63 pages long.

5 out of 5 eggsEXCELLENT

Pros: This card has run flawlessly from the first. It is quiet & cool. The Sapphire Catalyst Suite comes with a built in SAFE automatic overclocking feature!!! Works great. Price was great for the features you get in this one.

Cons: Big card. Make sure it fits in your case. Make sure your Power Supply will handle this one. I have a PC Power & Cooling from New Egg, the 750W Silencer. Runs everything I throw at it with lots of power to spare.

Other Thoughts: 1.Download the drivers from the Sapphire Web Site ONLY (ATI/AMD NO SUPPORT!!!). 2.Completely/Thoroughly UNinstall any old video drivers. Use Safe Mode to get any leftovers
3.Reboot into normal mode, Cancel found new hardware.
4.Run the Sapphire Drivers (Currently 8.6) & install the Drivers AND Catalyst Suite!!!
I am recommending this card to everyone whose computer that I work on with an old AGP slot!!!

5 out of 5 eggsNice card

Pros: Card runs great. For me, idles at 43c and under load peeks to 52c. I dont play much of the newer games, mostly source games. I have played lost planet, bioshock, and company of hero DEMOS, and they seem to run fine with medium settings.
Drivers worked from the CD no problem, even the 8.6 hotfix drivers worked.

Cons: after installing the 8.6 hotfix drivers I had some graphics stuttering problems with certain games, so I had to revert back to the CD drivers. Not really a problem as the 8.6 drivers really didnt give any performance boosts.

Other Thoughts: newegg delivered in 2 days, drivers worked right out of the box. Judging by other peoples review, I guess I just got lucky.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Video Card!

Pros: This is a excellent Agp card to have. I have a Single Core Processor ( AMD 64 bit socket 754 2.2 ghz ) . I used to run a Geforce 6200 256 ram agp. And its runs every thing twice as fast, if not faster. COD4 would get any where from 15-50 fps. Now with this card i get 50-130 fps. Counter Strike Source runs great with AA 4x now, as before i never used the option. So for older computers, i would recommend this card ( if you have the proper power supply, i use a 480w)

Cons: The driver that came with the video card installed fine. But when it comes down to getting into the Advanced part of the video card ( the Catalyst Control Center) it doesn't even show that i installed it. So im not sure what thats about. And when i try to install a hotfix it doesn't even see any of the Drivers.

Other Thoughts: Other than the Drivers not showing up and being able to update them this is a wonderful card and im very pleased with it. But i have read that the 8.6 hofix is supposed to be the FIX that every one has been waiting for to fix all the problems with the drivers. So we shall see.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: Works great with Vista, best value for an AGP card, and tons of video memory (sorry, not a big gamer). Love how it looks too, pretty snazzy!!

Cons: None found.

Other Thoughts: Easy install, no driver issues, what more can be said?

1 out of 5 eggsagp is dead

Pros: agp yes ,complete support from ati ,no..might work with linux

Cons: Does not support windows 98 se

Other Thoughts: why even redo agp cards if you are not going to support them.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Video Card

Pros: Very easy installation of hardware and drivers. Runs rather cool idle, 60C under full 100% load. Very easy automatic overclocking ability through included driver utility. Very stable and fast. benched 97 of Video Card Stability Test 3 times in a row. I'm very happy with this card. it's literally 2x the framerate of my old Radeon 9700XT 256 MB card. I can get 55-60fps in WoW @ 1680x1050 at good quality settings.

Cons: Well... My board only has a PCIe x4 speed slot, so I had to get the 8xAPG version instead of PCIe. The PCIe version of this card will beat it marginally in benchmarks. driver support MUST BE THROUGH SAPPHIRE, NOT ATI's WEBSITE. The ATI version of the driver did not recognize my card, so I installed the one from Sapphire's site and it works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: The overclocking tool on this card is rather nice. it comes build into the drivers, and will auto tune your card for you. I recommend running the Video Card Stability Test program on normal mode to push the card to 99%-100% usage that way it will make sure it's absolutely stable under heavy load to give more accurate results. Mine runs at 640MHz core, 540MHz memory perfectly stable. I gained 15 fps from it in WoW just by overclocking it, all other settings the same.
