5 out of 5 eggsgood cheap dual head PCI-E

Pros: Good Cheap dual head PCI-E card. Works great for basic Windows operations. Driver is easy to install.

Cons: Driver installation is pretty heavy. Fortunately hard drive space is cheap these days. Not the fastest graphics card for games, but this is not why I purchased the card.

5 out of 5 eggsGood fit in a small box

Pros: Deep, rich images on both my CRT and LCD monitors; Cheap quality in a low profile card; easy setup; included low-profile bracket fit my Broadway microATX case for DVI-i out; quiet running.

Cons: Slower frame rates than my nVidia 7xxx; need to buy an extra bracket (or cut down the included full size bracket) in order to use the ribboned VGA out.

Other Thoughts: This card has lower fps than my OC 7300GT(GDDR3) but the output looks so good for a price so low that I don't care.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Quick and easy install, I've never done it before and had no problems. Dramatic improvement over my on-board 128mb card. Great Value!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I get sick of gamers (and non-gamers alike) claiming that you can't have any real fun playing video games with anything less than a $300 card. This plays most games just fine. I can even play Crysis with it on medium settings, and guess what? I even had fun!

5 out of 5 eggsworks great; fits small factor case

Pros: The card works great (as expected). Unlike a previous reviewer experience, I was able to fit it into a Dell Optiplex GX280 small factor case. The attached low profile bracket fit just right. Good value.

Cons: no Windows 2000 support - no ATI drivers are available; third party drivers are possible

Other Thoughts: Note about low-profile small factor cases: There was a problem of where to place VGA connector in Dell small-factor case (since the case has only a single low-profile slot near PCI-E connector). But there are several 'ghetto' ways of connecting the VGA port (like drilling hole into a back board or letting it hang loose). Unfortunately, the VGA cable that plugs into the video card is too short to route it to a PCI slot (there are connectors with longer cable available). This is only an issue if you plan to hook up two monitors.

4 out of 5 eggsPerforms as expected

Pros: I did get the low-profile card, as ordered, which was good, since I planned on putting it into my low-profile box. It performs as expected, I can run most games I play with the max graphics settings. The fan is also very quiet, and it doesn't overheat, even when pushing it to it's limits.

Cons: Some trouble installing drivers, when I tried to install the drivers off of the CD that came with the card, it caused my computer to crash and shut off. Rebooting and installing drivers directly from ATI's site fixed the problem.

Other Thoughts: The best low-profile card I've bought so far.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Works as expected, out of the box. I got the half-height card, as pictured. No problems in playing Command and Conquer: Generals, WoW, LOTRO all on high settings. I'm glad I didn't get some $100-150 card since this one satisfies me just fine for the games and other tasks that I do frequently.

Cons: None at the moment.

4 out of 5 eggsnice card

Pros: This card fit nice into my small case,I already own another x1600pro and i needed 1 more for my crossfire to work.I play games like black hawk down, joint operations, dark age of camelot, and alot of other first person shooter games. It preforms very well and the shipping was crazy fast and you just can`t beat it for the price, tray tools says mines running at 547~1584 and that is completely stock, and my system is a socket 939 3700+ with 1 meg cash and 2000 bus @2.2 gigahertz, just for comparison purposes.

Cons: would like to have heatsinks on memory lol but not really a con.

Other Thoughts: I have not tried crossfire as of yet because I am awaiting my new board and cpu setup,I will try to come back and add how crossfire works on this card

4 out of 5 eggsGood Card

Pros: Seems to be a decent card. I'm not a big gamer, but enjoy a moderate amount, and this has been a good card for me. I also notice a significant improvement in color, etc. for my TV card. Great price.

Cons: It didn't affect me, but the description was for a low profile, and as others have commented, I received standard height.

Other Thoughts: Can't beat Newegg. I built 3 computers over the holidays, all parts from Newegg, and they're amazing.
