5 out of 5 eggsRunning Decent

Pros: I bought this card not long after it came on to the market and paid more then it is now. I have had a few issues but not really a whole lot. I recently downloaded direct x for xp which they recently started making for XP seems to be running better now. I have had very few issues with this card. When I bought I noticed that people with my mother board were have less issues with the card. I can't really say anything bad about the card.

Cons: A few driver issues here and there but for the most part no problems.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Drivers worked without hitch on vista, Vista rating of 5.3.

Cons: card vents back, runs hot

Other Thoughts: keep it cool this card vents back, and dont put any expansion cards below it. if it gets too hot you will get a bsod

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome upgrade

Pros: WOW runs at 14fps on high using a 400watt power suply. I actually ordered a 650watt pwr suply which I was not able to get working so had to keep the 400watt suply graphics rock, Great bang for it's buck. upgraded from a Nividia GF4 which I got in 2000.

Cons: Drivers didn't instal at first. I actually had to format my hard drive due to my "Asus motherboard" drivers which I updated caused my computer to reboot over and over. once formated drivers on CD updated without a problem.

Other Thoughts: ordered on a monday on the east coast and recve the product on Thursday. Awsome service NEWEGG. I wouldn't expect anything less.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Works great! Runs Call of Duty 4 on max settings. Runs Crysis demo with medium settings, and Counter Strike:Source
maxed. Stays cool..somewhat.

Cons: Could use a bigger fan, although I do like the fan and heatsink combo.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this card for people who still use AGP 8X and want to play the best games of today. Also for those who are on a bit of a budget. Best 98 dollars spent!

4 out of 5 eggsOmega drivers work great!

Pros: Very powerful card for AGP. Runs Oblivion at full res with only slight hesitation (I have a 2700+ so i think that has something to do with it). The way I've seen it handle Oblivion, I know its possible to run some of the latest games at medium settings, pretty good for a dying bus!

Cons: I thought maybe I could dodge the bullet with this one, but the truth is you *will* have driver issues. Drivers off the disc do not work. Hotfixes may work, but its different for every chipset.

Other Thoughts: Use Omega drivers, it was the turn-key solution for me. I tried all the hotfixes and Oblivion still crashed when I ramped up the settings. Slapped in the Omega drivers and it was like magic; everything just started working!

Don't let all the reviews completely scare you, but do let them put a healthy concern in you that there will be driver issues. Its fixable though.

3 out of 5 eggssapphire, never again

Pros: Good solid build card, works great when you get the right drivers.

Cons: Bad driver support. The drivers on the disk don't work, do you believe that. Amd/Ati does not support this card through their drivers. Had to fix drivers myself by adding code. Found this fix on the net. Sapphire did finally released a fix, I think.

Other Thoughts: WHERE IS MY REBATE??? I bought this card in April.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks OK

Pros: The card installed OK after I upgraded my PS from 430watts to 550 watts. Plays Oblivion(full) and Crysis(low to med) fine. I was able to upgrade to the latest Sapphire drivers after I installed the VisionTek drivers (use windows driver upgrade button then locate the .ini file in the driver directory).

Cons: Only the driver thing.

Other Thoughts: For what it is worth, I am running an OLD athlon XP 2000+ PC Windows XP sp2. As for the drivers, the card responded the same with the 83 VisionTek drivers as it did with the 86 Sapphire drivers.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent card, especially for the price. Runs everything I've thrown at it smoothly. Newer games like Crysis need to be turned down quite a bit, but at least it isn't a slide show and still looks half decent. Overall, great way to keep an AGP board alive for a little while longer.

Cons: Getting working drivers was the biggest pain I've ever had with any hardware. The drivers on the CD didn't work, the drivers on Sapphire's site didn't work. In the end, I took a tip from another review and installed the drivers from Visiontek's site.

Other Thoughts: Fan is pretty loud. My case is very good at blocking out the noise, so I don't mind it; but worth noting.

Other System Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2Ghz Single Core
1 GB RAM
Windows XP SP2
460 Watt PSU

4 out of 5 eggsWorks nice in my old system

Pros: Cheep.. Works good in my older agp system Runs 10c cooler playing Eve compared to my old 1600 pro. Works with my ATI HD tunner card .

Cons: Only drivers from the Sapphire web sight seam to work. Drivers from the ATI sight don't recognize card.

Other Thoughts: I hope Sapphire continues driver support.
