- Pros: Really, this card is highly underpriced. I used this card for about 2 years, and was able to play anything, and I mean anything I wanted. I paid about 150 when I got it new, and I coupled it with a sempron 2800, and the computer was nearly unstoppable.
- Cons: Only problem I had with it, was that it died. And was quiet hot, the stock cooler just only does the job.
- Other Thoughts: I do only play at 1024,768, so don't expect it to play ultra high res, tho half-life 2 was extremely playable at 1600,1800. And of course no pixel shader 3 support, but even now, thats not that big if a deal.
Great price for such a card
- Pros: You get alot for your money. Quiet in a medium sized case.
- Cons: Not a gamer card by any respects for todays games. I imagine this card can still hold it's own in the older games though. 128 bit memory bus for 20 bucks is nothing to scoff at.
- Other Thoughts: Awesome card for the price. 20 bucks gets you a pretty outstanding card.
not too shabby
- Pros: 8 pixel pipes.is actually updated x700 hybrid card.hence the ddr2 memory speeds.very quite also.does very well in vista scores 4.2 in vista.put in an acer m1100 i got here with 2 gigs of corsair memory, works well.
- Cons: are you kidding?it's under 25 bucks.
- Other Thoughts: this card is quite suprising playing ut2004 I can hardly tell the difference between this and my 3870 card at same resolutions.YES, the fps is higher on the 3870 but my eyes cant tell the difference anyways.this is a great card for the price.so much so i am thinking of buying at least 3 more for future builds.
