5 out of 5 eggsi'm happ

Pros: cheap, performs well, low power requirements

Cons: not in stock

Other Thoughts: this was an upgrade from a Nvdia G100 for my recently purchased Acer Aspire X1700. like what others have said, the card works great even on my 220w power supply. my Vista score went from 4.0 to 5.1. i did notice a slight burning smell for a few minutes under a load but it's gone now. overall i am very pleased with this cards performance. this midrange performance is what i thought i was buying with the G100 that came with my Acer small form factor PC. As you know, upgrading these things can be a nightmare and i was happy that my power supply worked. I would recommend this card to anyone with a small form factor. On a side note, i did purchase a self powered USB hub to connect all of my extras to so that i can conserve as much power as possible.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible for Low-Profile Standards!

Pros: What a leap over the Radeon HD3450! Just a step up from that and my Vista sub-score went from 3.7 to 5.1! Personally, that's pretty impressive for a small form factor PC! Also, the low power consumption of this card is perfect for my system, since it's running off a 195W PSU, and I'm finding it next to impossible to find a more powerful PSU that would fit in this system.

Cons: This isn't really a con on the card itself, but more on its availability! There aren't enough of these on the market!! I held out on the "Open Box" version of this card and waited for what seemed like forever (really could've been just a couple months or so) for the full retail product! For just over $70 (including shipping), considering how hard it is to get this card, it's turned out to be well worth the price!
But really, they need to make more of these cards! And if there's any con on the card itself as far as running it goes, there's just a slight hiss from the fan, but it doesn't bug me enough to dock an Egg-rating, otherwise, it's GREAT!

Other Thoughts: I'm running this card in an HP Slimline s3400f. Probably one of the more powerful small form factor PC's on the market, at least as of Mid-'08. I still haven't seen many others that beat the specs of this small machine.
AMD 64 Athlon X2 - 2.7Ghz p/Core (stock)
Vista Premium 32-bit (yeah, could be 64-bit, but not going there because of the RAM capacity)
4Gb of RAM (max for the motherboard, stock installed)
195W PSU
500GB Hard Drive (stock)
And yeah, adding this Radeon HD3650 to the mix, and its one sweet Mini-Powerhouse! Keyword there, MINI! I know this is nothing compared to larger desktops, but considering its limitations, its pretty nice. :)

Thank You Newegg!!

5 out of 5 eggsWow Great low profile card

Pros: Great card and fast! It actually runs great with my Dell 530s and on a 250 PSU!!!! If you're running a slime pc then this card will probally fit and it's a low power consuming graphic card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Newegg was extremely fast at delivering this card. I order on a thursday and recieved on a monday.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well in my Dell c521

Pros: Low profile, doesn't need a 6-pin like the 9600gt. 250-300psu is plenty for this thing. Decent quiet fan that actually keeps it running cool. I would compare its performance to a x1800xt ddr3. They both run Fallout 3 on Medium, Left4Dead almost all the way up, most other new games medium/high, without the eye candy (1280x1024 with a 2.5ghz amd dual core and 2gigs ram).

Cons: ddr2 ram, if you want to spend more money you can get the 9600gt and use power converters.

Other Thoughts: Replaced a x1300 that the dell came with. This thing crushes it, the x1300 was fine for older games on low resolutions but it would get very hot because all it had was a cheapo heatsink. This thing keeps very cool and performs much better. Vista rating is 5.5/5.4 for graphics/gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Bang

Pros: Good Bang for the buck and Great if you have small case. Run's COD 4 and COD W2W.

Cons: Just not quite enough GPU and bandwidth
for higher new generation games. I put this
in my second gamer so not that big a deal.

Other Thoughts: Nvidia now has a low profile card that will run in these
small cases and I hear you can get by with there standard 250/300 power supplies. Twice the band width. About twice the price too.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat low pro card

Pros: runs warhammer with almost max settings, all that matters. finally a decent low profile card, and for a cheap price! vista rates this card at a 5.5/5.2 for graphics/gaming.

Cons: had a little trouble on getting my sound to work after a reformat, but resolved it by uninstalling my sound drivers and reinstalling.

Other Thoughts: running it on a dell 250psu, hopefully no problems in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card for your low pro pc

Pros: I bought a Dell 530s about 4 days ago.Im not huge into games but i do play WOW.Anyways...I installed the card.According to vista's calculator i went from a 3.3 graphics score to 5.9 and 5.6 respectivly. My computer was rated at a 3.3 and is now a 4.8(because of the memory). So after i tryed that i tryed WOW...Framerates went from 35 fps to 75 fps.I then turned the graphics to max everything and frames were around 50 fps...And it looked amazing.Im installing crysis as we speak and im sure it will be good results

Cons: took awhile to restart during the install.Other then that i would say nothing

Other Thoughts: If your not a huge nerd into games but do play occassionly and have a small computer,i would say buy this card! Its probably the best bolt on card for the money

Im also running on a 250w ps and seems to run great. The dell 530s should have had this come with it

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Great HDMI output with included cable. Increased Vista rating on graphics from 3.6 to 5.4. Low profile fits Dell 531s perfectly. Egg-celent price and fast shipping from NewEgg (as always).

Cons: None found.

Other Thoughts: To get audio through HDMI you have to:
1) open control pannel
2) select your sound/audio applet
3) change setting from speakers to HDMI output
(It is that simple. No reboot needed)

I running a Dell 531s w/Vista Home Premium, connected to a 50 inch Toshiba DLP TV. (It makes for a great media center pc)

By connecting through the HDMI input I can now adjust my resolution as if it were a regular monitor. (I couldn't while connected to the VGA input)

If you need a low profile graphics card then this one is it.
